Tanisha
1)Tell us a little about yourself?
I live in New Jersey with my husband of 6 ½ years and our 2 sons, 4 ½ years and 6 months old. I work full time as a Research Technologist and I volunteer for the Office of Emergency Management in my town. In between all of this, I somehow find the time to indulge my creative side, pull out my supplies, and scrap.
2)How long have you been scrapping? Or how did you start scrapping?
I have been scrapping for 4 ½ years now. I started when my older son was born as a way to record his first year of life and I haven’t looked back. Scrapping has now become my stress relief and my creative outlet.

3)How would you describe your scrapping style?
My style changes with my mood…I have yet to truly define it because I am constantly changing and trying new things. If I had to pinpoint something, I would say it’s whimsical. I love adding flourishes, bling and fun color combinations to my projects.
4)Any special holiday traditions you are looking forward to?
Baking cookies with my son on Christmas Eve!! I make huge batches of homemade cookies and other goodies every year and when he turned 2, I included him in on the process. He loves it, especially the taste testing!

5)What’s your favorite subject or theme to scrapbook about?
Honestly? ...me! Isn’t that kind of weird to hear a scrapper say? I love to scrap my boys, too. It’s important to because I want them to always know how much I love them and I try to convey that in my projects. However, I also feel it’s important to tell my story and get my feelings down on paper…besides with a house full of guys, how else could I use all of the pretty girly stuff that I buy?! hehehe
6) What’s your favorite movie?
Yikes…this is such a tough question because I can’t pick just one! I love chick flicks and kick butt, blow ‘em up action films…anything with Denzel Washington, Don Cheadle, Tom Hanks, or Matthew McCognaughey in them and pretty much everything directed by Spike Lee!
7)And last…what Bo Bunny product or line do you most love?
The first time I laid eyes on Believe, I knew I had to have it. I hoard Christmas papers, but this line inspired me to create! I also adore Beau Jardin, the colors and flourishes are right up my alley!

Cool layouts and gorgeous cards! Thanks for sharing. I loved hearing that you enjoy scrapbooking about yourself. I always think of that as a guilty pleasure, but I think it is really important too. I wish I had a window into my mom's youth to better understand her as a person today and my kids will have that.
You rock Tanisha!
