Hello Everyone
It's Denise here today to share an altered book/mini album that I made, using the festive and beautiful Tis the Season collection.
I started off with an old work notebook that I wanted to recycle and use for this mini album.
I cut out the centre and just kept the covers.
I then added the cardstock pages.
Now it was time to decorate the cover and I started with stickable stencils and some gesso.
I allowed this to dry and then added some distress paint and water for a water colour effect. I also added stamping.
Then I added the embellishments. I used Pearlescent on some of the die-cut leaves for dimension and highlights.
I added lots of layers of die-cuts and goodies.
Now it was time for those inner pages and I will just share a few with you.
I used pearlescent to add some pearls and dots to the centre of the snowflakes and around the gesso.
Once again, I used some pearlescent to add some pearl dots, which just add another layer to this page.
I am yet to complete most of the other pages of this album, but luckily I have a bit of time before Christmas.
Thanks so much for stopping by the BoBunny blog today and hope you are festively inspired!
See you back tomorrow.
Have a super day.
Denise x
