Hi everyone, I've created a layout using the beautiful Winter Wishes collection.
Let it Snow by Katherine Sutton
I started with a layer of the Pentart Primer Paste - White Gesso using a palette knife, when that was dry I added some Pentart Silver Acrylic. Then I mixed a little bit of the Frost Glimmer Spray with the Silver Acrylic to give a metallic blue and added a little bit, then another layer of the white gesso. I added some smaller bits of the white gesso and Grey Acrylic around the edges of the page just using my finger.
Once the paint was dry I used the Winter Fun stencil to add some glittery snowflakes with Sugar Glitter Paste - it gives a beautiful iridescent sparkle. Whilst all of that was drying I went to work building up some layers behind my photos, I chose the creams, greys and blues in this line - using Whimsy as the background paper, and then layering up pieces of Magic and Glistening. I cut out some of the frames from Beautiful, and also the key at the top. To add a little bit more sparkle I used the blue hues jewels which went beautifully with the blues in the Frost Glimmer mist, I added a few gems around the page with some white sequins, and then added some lines of gems on either side of the photo to pull in the blue from the papers a little bit more.
To add a bit more sparkle I used my finger and added glitter paste to the gauze and around the edges of the papers as well as using the Winter Fun Stencil.
I split apart the flower so it wasn't so large next to my photo, but also so I could add a few of the glistening petals in other areas around the page.
