Goals Scrapbook Layout using the Foil Quill

Hi dear BoBunny friends,
It's Angela here. First of all let me wish you a very happy new year!
I have the pleasure to write the first blog post of this 2020 and the project I am sharing is all about new year goals! My inspiration for you is a creative layout made of circles, stitched doodles and resolutions.

I started creating the background of the layout with a wash of pink on a white 12" card-stock using the packaging technique. While it was drying, I punched some circles from white and colored papers and layered them on each other using foam adhesive. On top, I placed the photos that I previously printed in a circle shape.

I created the layout using bits and pieces from various old and new BoBunny collections. There's a star from past Bee-utiful collection, a few butterflies from Sweet Clementine and pieces from the newest Time & Place and Count the Ways collections.

On the bottom of each cluster of circles I stamped a phrase. These are my goals for 2020. Fingers crossed!

I connected circles to the title of the layout with stitched doodles made of white thread. This gives more interest to the page creating a dynamic look.

The title of the layout is a combination of alpha stickers and a die-cut I created using the Foil Quill. That's very simple to make. I typed the title Goal on my Silhouette machine. I took a piece of white card-stock and I covered it with gold foil. Last, I traced the design using the bigger foil quill pen and voilĂ !
