Fine Art Friday with Amy

Hello Bo Bunny Friends,

Amy Here with Fine Arts Friday. I have created a layout using the Serendipity collection called Smiles.

To create the background I primed with Bobunny Primer the Serendipity Love Paper. Using texture paste I used the Cascade Stickable Stencil. Once dry I used water with Pentart Jade and Blue to paint on the background. I also used Caribean Glitter paste to highlight as well.

Once dry, I painted Pentart Acrylic white on the curly chipboard pieces in the collection and embellished with butterflies surrounding it.

And here is Smiles with my beautiful grandmother as well. I hope this has inspired you to get a little messy this weekend.

Pocket Pages and Serendipity with Amy

Hello Bo Bunny Friends,

Amy here with a Pocket Page layout using the gorgeous Serendipity Collection.

Tip One - Cutting out your cut apart pages are great for your pocket layouts. Bo Bunny collections usually have a couple in each collection. But I have used beautiful chipboard pieces to layer over this. And splattered with BoBunny Gold Glimmer Sprays

Then I used a bit of Dymo plastic labeling tape for the journal pocket which is a good way when you don't want to use your own writing.

Here you can see I have fussy cut the butterflies and birds out of the papers and used it in my embellishment clusters

I hope you are inspired to create using this beautiful collection. It is great for mixed media and paper crafting.

Down by the Sea and Pentart Rust Effects System with Amy

Hey There Bo Bunny Friends,

Amy here with a great technique to use when wanting to create some more dimension in your ocean theme layouts.

Here is 'Let the Sea Set you Free' Shadow box

The Pentart rust effect.

The rust effect system is quite fun to play with, but there is potential for a little messiness. Read and follow the instructions first and prepare your area there are some important tips to make sure you follow for best results.

1. Use a slow drying paint or gesso as your base for the metal to adhere too.  Pentart Iron Paste is a fabulous option. If you need color, mix your acrylic paints with another medium.

2. Once you have added your drops of the rust reagents. LET IT DRY!

3. The rust will leak through paper, and it is totally normal. I was ok with this as I was trying to make an underwater scene and it is always good to have a blotch or two of any color. You can always use chipboard on top if you need the rust in specific spots.

Here are some more close ups of my shadow box

I hope you have enjoyed this post and are ready to start playing with your Down by the Sea collection and getting your hands dirty with all the fun Pentart products BoBunny carries.

Aryia's Garden Tea Party with Amy

Hello Bo Bunny Friends!

Amy here! I feel very blessed to be able to use Aryia's Garden to show you how fun your next afternoon tea can be with a little decor for your table. I have created pinwheels and a sweet little letterbox.

I want to show you how easy a pin wheel can be. Cut one square piece of cardstock. Then cut from each corner, but not all the way into the middle. You can cut straight but you can see I have cut with a curve. Paste the left side of each pair into the middle of the pinwheel. You just need a little touch of adhesive to hold it all in place. I have used a gem in the middle once everything is secure.  Using a variation of this pattern, you can make many pinwheels, but with slightly different shape.  Be creative! You can use these as wall decor, or add a colorful straw as a party favor or place setting for your tea party.

I created a letter box to go in the middle of your table. I have painted the eaves of the roof with Pentart Liquid Metal in Gold.  As you can see there is some fun detail on the inside of the letterbox that ties in nicely with the colors of the pinwheels.

I have clustered one side of the letter box with Noteworthy and chipboard.

Here is my Afternoon Tea decor.

Petal Lane and Pentart Antique Techniques with Amy

Hello Bo Bunny Friends,

Amy here to show you a lovely home décor idea you could do with some of your new Pentart Antique Paints.

To start with I gathered together chipboard flags I want to put on my wall.

Using Pentart Antique Crackle Paint System I painted the background and let dry. Then I sanded the edges to create an even more worn look.

From here I gathered two of the Pentart contour liner paints and created a pattern on the edges. I was inspired by the borders of the Petal Lane collection and frames.

Once dry I dripped a Pentart Media Ink and let it spread into the cracks and edges.

Finally I clustered with my Petal Lane embellishments and blooms too and it is ready to place on the wall OR add some photos.

I hope you enjoyed my Petal Lane Flags as much as I loved creating them.

Aryia's Garden and Pentart Wax Paste with Amy

Hello Bo Bunny friends!

Amy here to show you the fun you can have with the Wax Pastes.

For this layout I wanted to add a little dimension by spreading the  Metallic Antique Wax Pastes across the page. These Pastes will resist water, so if you want to add watercolor paint perhaps do that first. Or use it as a resist effect.

I then added my photo, and clustered my embellishments so that the paste is not covered. By spacing out flowers, you can add a feminine feel to the layout

And below is the full layout called Wonderful.

Faith and Pentart Lasur Gel Indoor/Outdoor with Amy

Hello Bo Bunny Friends,

Amy here again with the Faith Collection and Pentart Lasur Paint.
There are so many fun things you can do!

Have you tried Pentart Lasur Paint for Indoor use yet? Its great for staining those wood veneer pieces you have stored up in your stash. This piece had one coat of Lasur Paint and then I was immediately able to stamp over it.

You can also use the the paint with a little water for your Misc Me cards.  It's a great way to create backgrounds. Faith is perfect for creating clusters around. Mix with a little water. then stamp over it

The Faith collection is perfect for Easter photos. Try and mimick similar images whether with a stamp or with some of the useful Noteworty pieces to tie in all the different colours.

I hope you enjoyed this look at my Easter Misc Me layout using Faith and some fun Pentart supplies!

Petal Lane and Pentart Lasur for Interiors with Amy

Hello BoBunny friends,

Amy with you today showing you how to create a gorgeous layout using the fabulous Petal Lane collection. And then using Pentart Lasur paint to show you how you can add extra dimension to your paper.
Lets begin.  Layout 1

When creating with your dies or cut-files remember you can always layer underneath to fill the gaps. This cut-file I used two other pieces of cardstock both sides to fill in the flower.

Now Layout 2 - Fussy fussy fussy cut

This is especially for the paper hoarder like myself who always gets two of every cardstock. I fussy cut around the flower borders to create an extra layer for those flowers. You will need to raise your photo onto foam adhesive as well as your fussy cut so you can appreciate the detail later on.

Layout 3 - Lets get our hands "messy" with Pentart Lasur

Now, I would like to show you how much fun it is to paint with Pentart Lasur for Interior on your layout to add that "Va Va Voom".  Instead of using your enamel dots that I know you are keeping, use the back of your paint brush and with the pointy end create of dots around your layout. Adding that yellow paint has tied in the other yellow just that little more.

So here you are. . . One Layout Three Ways using Petal Lane and Pentart Lasur.

Stay Scrappy!

Winter Wishes and Pentart Glass Paint with Amy

Hello there My Bo Bunny Friends,

Today I wanted to show you some sweet cards I created using the Winter Wishes collection. The beautifully vintage style is perfect for layering your layouts and cards.

This pop up card is layered with Noteworthy, layered chipboard and foil vellum pieces creating a beautiful vintage cluster.

This card has a layover of a thin acetate like material great for use with Stickable Stencils and Pentart Glass Paint.  You can see the subtlety of the design on the clear where I applied in pink.  These shades can be mixed a bit too to give you varied effects.

Pentart Glass Paint is transparent and super easy to use!  You can be assured that and will stay put nicely on your projects.

Handmade cards are always so nice to send to special friends and so well appreciated.   Sending a physical card is almost a "lost art" and means so much more!

Thank you for stopping by

Hi Everyone!
It's Angela here and now it's my turn in the blog hop.  I want to show you what I've made for my son to decorate his room for Christmas. A few weeks ago we spent a few days in Copenhagen. It was the end of November and everywhere was a Christmas decor!  But the most wonderful experience has been Tivoli, an entertainment park in the typical North European style. It seemed to be the North Pole and the air smelled of Christmas! Well, my youngest son Filippo fell crazy in love with all that.

To celebrate the trip I had this idea...

Christmas Tree by Angela Tombari using BoBunny Winter Whishes collection and 3L products

That was a Christmas tree I made for the school a few years ago. I decided to give it a second life and renewing it with some strokes of paint. Just a few and it was beautifully shabby.

Christmas Tree by Angela Tombari using BoBunny Winter Whishes collection and 3L products

Then, I gathered pics of the trip and embellished them with the perfect matching collection Winter Wishes.

Then, I gathered pics of the trip and embellished them with the perfect matching collection Winter Wishes.

I made a mat for each photo using papers and die-cuts. To give dimension, I used a lot of 3L foam tape. The one in roll was perfect to customize the size I needed.

Then, I gathered pics of the trip and embellished them with the perfect matching collection Winter Wishes.

Here you can better see the final result of the embellished photos.

Then, I gathered pics of the trip and embellished them with the perfect matching collection Winter Wishes.

As you can see they are mainly Filippo's pics and Tivoli park

Then, I gathered pics of the trip and embellished them with the perfect matching collection Winter Wishes.
To attach the photos to the wood tree I used dots of 3L Dodz, very sticky! They perfectly adhere to the wood and also they allowed me to detach them easily, without ruining the paper. That's important to me since I'm planning to make a mini album with all these pieces after Christmas time.

Then, I gathered pics of the trip and embellished them with the perfect matching collection Winter Wishes.

Do you like the idea? Let me know what you think about it leaving a comment below.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to meet the other DT members and their stunning projects.
Love,
Angela
