Life's A Beach by Ulrika Wandler

Hi, Ulrika here to show you a canvas I made with a bunch of fantastic products from BoBunny and Pentart!

I started with priming my canvas with gesso. After that I applied Bead Paste to make the background.

I also used a stencil together with gesso to make the circles (or bubbles?!).

After that I used Gel Paste to glue some 3D Powder and 3D Balls to start making the sand on the bottom of the ocean. I also glued on some sisal threads and shells. The Gold Confetti Paste is perfect to make the "sand" and the shells glitter.

I applied acrylic paint and wax paste all around the edges.

Down by the Sea and Pentart Crackle systems!-With Marilyn

Hello everyone!   It's Marilyn here and today I made this super fun mixed media canvas with the new Down by the Sea collection and Pentart Crackle Products.

I had to work on a underwater scene with this adorable mermaid. First, I covered the canvas with the "Tide" paper. I cut out the mermaid from the Fantasy paper that I adhered with gel medium to the canvas.






I gave textures with the new Fancy Flourishes Stencils and Pentart Primer Paste in White. I adhered the 3D Powder with the Express liquid glue to give the sand effect you see here.







I painted the canvas with the Creamy Acrylic Paint by Pentart and I applied the Pentart Crackle product on the borders.  I have a suggestion for you, it produces a better result if you let it dry naturally, don't use the heat gun.







For the background I stamped with the Take Note Stamp and a permanent ink. The layered chipboard from the Down the Sea collection looks adorable on my canvas.

Faith and Pentart Mixed Media with Ombretta

Hello and welcome to today's BoBunny Blog from Ombretta! Easter is in the air, I would like to celebrate with you using the perfect collection for this occasion: Faith!

I had fun creating two unusual cards. Easter is always an explosion of pastel colors and bunnies, but I preferred using darker colors and light them up with gold. 

I also used the symbolic message of the egg, as a rebirth to a new life. A sort of transfer from the dark colors to the light of the butterflies...delicate creatures that cheer up our souls with their colorful fly!

This are my two cards!

I'm sorry? Do you see only one? Oh no, let's look better!

Inside the egg card there is the wishing message. It's a little jewel to display or to use like an elegant magnet.

The second card has a butterfly as a leading role, that with a colorful fly will rebirth. For the gilding I used Patina Prodoucts, Gold Powder and reagent to give antique touch to the project, to simulate the oxidetion of the glod and making the color shine.

For making the butterflies I used Sticable Stencils and Gesso Pentart, then I gild with gold and Patina Products.

I assembled the card with Stencils and Gesso and when it was still humid I glided. Remember. when you use Patina Powder use it always when it's still Humid, to give it best. Then I used green and lightblue reagents on the gold patina.

A symbolic Easter which I adore and I hope you like too!

Inside the card with a butterfly,  I created a paper egg to adhere on the center of the card with a butterfly fly all arund it using BoBunny Glitter Paste and some butterfly Stickable Stencils. In the center I glued a Noteworthy in cross Shape.

Hello BoBunny friends, it's Elena here today.

I've got to share with you a fun canvas I made using the beautiful Petal Lane collection and many fun Pentart mixed media products.

It's exciting to create your own background with the sprays and acrylic paints.

But, actually the glitter pastes and wax pastes are great products to add the shimmer and shine to your project.

The wax paste works great on porous surfaces, such a canvas especially on textured surfaces It has a smooth color and shade, it's best to apply it with your finger tips. Start with just a little then apply more as needed.  It goes pretty far!

You can also combine 2-3 colors to achieve a more gradient look. And the same can be done with the glitter paste- simply add/mix 2 colors while spreading them on the surface through the Stickable Stencil.

To add more colors I used the acrylic paints, they help you to make it look more even.

I also mounted the paper layers on the card board pieces, to give the canvas somegreat dimension.

Life in Color and Pentart metallic Wax Pastes with Solange

Hello BoBunny fans!!

It's Solange Marques here. Today I'll share with you a new mixed media project using Life in Color collection and Pentart Metallic Wax Pastes!

I've made a canvas for this post. 

I've glued "Life in Color Bricks" on the canvas. Then I applied BoBunny white gesso (quite unevenly) on some bricks to get more texture.

After that dried, I applied Pentart Wax Paste on them.  See how it highlights the texture of the dry gesso?

I added fussy cuttings of the elephant and the octopus/

I've applied wax paste on some places of the elephant and the tag, too.

I love to make this canvas! It's so crazy!

For me, the bricks represent real life, the reality and the winged elephant is the dream, the freedom. And everything is possible on the dreams !!

The octopus represents everything that tries to envelop us with its arms and hold us. But we can always chose to between the dreams and the freedom or the arms of reality and commitments. Is it too crazy? I love how it turned out.

Make A Splash and Pentart Mixed Media with Elena

Hello!

Elena S. here today!  I want to show you the cheerful Party of Penguins made for a children's holiday! I used the tremendous collection Make a Splash! Cheerful figures of penguins, cockleshells, palm trees give this a wonderful look! And for a base I have taken an old cigar box which has been painted with Pentart mixed media.  For the general background I have taken two pages to start from this fun collection!

Let's look and we will plunge into the anxiously anticipated time of year - warm, carefree summer!

 At first I have covered the box in Gesso white.

Then I have added a little of Pentart's 2 component Cracking Paint System.

And for a background it is a little Creamy Acrylic Blue.

The sea background has turned out!

This fun seaside adventure of penguins can be used also at a children's birthday party, and at friendly parties in sea style, and just to create the wonderful summer atmosphere with children and to dream together of long-awaited summer!
