Bo Bunny loves Scrapbook Panache!!!

Come on in...

Scrapbook Panache opened in 2008 by Harriet Thone. Here in Arkansas we do not have a big selection of specialty scrapbook stores, so Harriet wanted to open a store where she could offer many different styles of papers and embellishments from several different companies. She has done that here at Scrapbook panache we carry the latest and greatest from over 25 different companies. Out of those Bo Bunny is one of our favorite brands to carry. Each time Bo Bunny comes out with a new line, we know that we have to have the whole collection for the store. I think what we and our customers love the most about Bo Bunny is that each line that they make is so unique and different from the last but they all have so many buttons stickers and embellishments that match each unique line perfectly. That makes it easier for the designers here at the store along with our customers to make a layout or cards.

We have recently moved to a new location where our store is now 4,000 sq feet and we have a large crop room in the back that seats up to 40 people. We are right off of the interstate and our building sets in between several restaurants and motels. So anyone that would like to attend any of our FREE monthly crops from out of town can come and stay and do all they need to within walking distance from our store. Our crop room can be used or reserved for any crafting event as long as we are not holding an event at the time of request!!! The first Saturday of each month is when we hold our FREE monthly crop from 10am-5pm. Everyone gets a gift for attending and we have a drawing each hour for a door prize; Harriet always gives away the BEST prizes!!! We also have a kids class each month for only $10. We have several different instructors here at the store...Angela Anderson, Brenda Collins, Chasidy Mills, Denise Donaldson, Franshel Horney aolng with Harriet Thone. We teach different classes through out the month including scrapbook layouts, card classes, mixed media and mini albums.

We have recently created a website http://www.myscrapbookpanache.com/index.html that is still being worked on daily!!! We also have a Facebook Page "Scrapbook Panache" (it is the page with the profile picture of our sign) that you can check out or follow us if you would like.

Below are some projects from this amazing store!

Thank you Bo Bunny for giving us a chance to be in your spotlight!!!

Thank you guys for being such a great customer!  We love our stores!

Supplies:

Paper: Love Letters

Stamp 8 hearts using pink ink. Cut them out and stich them together with a stapler.

Dream

Mireille Divjak

Bo Bunny Supplies:

Paper: On the go/ Vroom, Gears ; Hello Sunshine/ Daydream
Blossoms: Harvest Orange Pansy, Buttercup Daisy, Buttercup Bouquet, Buttercup Lace

Stamps: Ad Lib, Smoochable
Jewels: Barefoot & Bliss
12" Chipboard: Alora

I took one blossom from the Orange Pansy package and took it apart. I used the petals as balloons and Stamped the strings with the Smoochable stamp set.

Tip: The background was a little empty for my taste. I took the "Celebrate text stamp" (from the Ad Lib Collection) and stamped birthday text in different colors to go with the birthday theme / balloons. )

What fun ideas! We'd love to see the embellishments you make. Post your projects on our Facebook page. And have a happy November!! (I can't believe it's already here!)

Introducing "My Scrappin' Shop"

Today we are showcasing a local store...
Local, that is, if you live in or near the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia

Hi, I’m Teena from My Scrappin’ Shop. Together with my Mum, Rosemary and my sister, Leonie we opened our shop just over 9 years ago on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. We have 5 wonderful ladies - Nora, Mel, Barb, Carolyn and Lisa who share their talents with us and inspire all who visit our store.

Sunkissed - Wet n’ Wild

2 years ago we decided to offer our customers a monthly kit. We wanted to give our customers value for money, a variety of themes, products and styles. The manufacturer had to be reliable and have the capability of designing awesome collections all the time. Of course BoBunny was on the top of the list. So Leonie and I designed the first kit using the Sunkissed Collection and The BoBunny Club was born.

Leonie with a stack of BoBunny kits

Every month we create a new kit using new BoBunny papers & embellishments. Each kit contains full instructions to complete 4 pages.  To keep our pages looking fresh we use a variety of techniques and styles inspired by BoBunny designers and the latest trends. And with the variety of themes that BoBunny comes up with, makes it lots of fun.

Country Garden – Fun in the Sun
Every month more and more ladies join the club as they realise it is nice to get a fun parcel in the mail. They can scrap with the latest and the greatest in the comfort of their own home and have full instructions to create wonderful pages. If you are interested in finding out more you can visit our website.  www.myscrappinshop.com.au   Pictured below are some of this year’s pages.

On the Go – Trucks & Dirt

Little Miss – Mum’s Wedding Dress
But before I go, we would like to thank BoBunny for the wonderful opportunity to tell you our story on the BoBunny Blog. And also for the last 10 years of designing and creating fantastic products which has brought joy to so many of us through scrapbooking our family and friends.

I can "DOODLE" that!

Today's quick and easy tip is to doodle...  Isn't that fun to say. Doodle. Say it with me... Doodle.
It makes me smile and so do these layouts the girls have come up with.

You will NEVER guess it by these layouts, but the girls claimed to have had
a hard time with these.  Phffft...  They seriously could do good work with their eyes closed.

3rd Birthday
by: Carin McDonough

Tip : The 6x6 paper pads are perfect to keep for making embelishments for your page like I have done with my banners. Firstly you don't have to cut into lots of 12x12 papers if you want various patterns and secondly the pattern is on a smaller scale so it looks better for smaller cut outs. The fun thing about doodling is that is does not need to be perfect so don't be afraid to just put your pen down and doodle! the fun thing about doodling.

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned paper : Choo Choo, Gears, Roads, Cut Outs/On The Go
6x6 Paper Pad : On The Go
Chipboard : On the Go Layered Chipboard
STickers : On The Go Combo Sticker

Vroom
by: Debbie Sherman

When you're creating a layout for a fun event try adding a little doodling to your layout. It gives the viewer the impression that not only the photo of the event was fun but creating the layout was just as fun! Trace around the page in a carefree manner and frame elements to make them stand out! You'll have fun doing it and your page will reflect fun!

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper:On The Go Vroom, Choo Choo, Cut Outs
Stickers: Friendship Cardstock Sticker;
Dimensional Stickers: On The Go
Jewels: On The Go
Noteworthy: On The Go
Chipboard: On The Go 12x12 Chipboard

Sweet Chloe
Irene Tan
Designer Tip: In my layout above, I've added a layer to the design by simply adding a line in between the cardstock and doodle some scallop edges to it. To make doodling easier, I've masked some leaves on the layout and use a black pen to outline them. I've also used a white gel pen to draw some simple details on the leaves.

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Sunset, Firewood/Camp-A-Lot
Cardstock: Double Dot in Chocolate Vintage
Stickers: Camp-A-Lot Combo Sticker
Buttons: Camp-A-Lot
Petals: Camp-A Lot

Are you feeling it????
Go grab a pen and layout and start doodling.
But wait, first leave a comment and let us know what you think about today's layouts.
Bo Bunny has the best friends!!!
