Step It Up

We have really enjoyed creating and showing how to Step It up here at Bo Bunny!
In fact, we liked it so much with layouts, we decided to do it with cards!

Some of the design team has made some great cards and then taken them to
the next level by Stepping It Up!

First up, we have Romy.

Oh Happy Day
Romy Veul

Romy has gone all out with her card and not only Stepped It Up, she's showing you step by step how to do it!

1) Use one of the cards from the card kit as a base for your card.
2) Cut several pieces of paper in different sizes from the papers in the mini paper pad. Ink the edges and position them on your card in the desired way.
3) Glue down two of the Noteworthy embellishments in the middle of your card.
4) Embellish your card with a few chipboard stickers, rub-ons and fussy cut clouds and planes. Rub the sentiment rub-on onto a strip of white paper and adhere them to your card using foamtape.

5) Finish off your card with a few jewels, glitter glue and liquid pearls.

Get to Know: Sarah Eclavea

Hi all! Sarah here today to introduce myself to all of you. Let's see, where to start? I live in Chicago, IL with my husband Ron and two little girls Frances and Isabel. I have been srapbooking for over ten years now, but when my daughter was born I started doing it more regularly and discovered the whole world of online scrapping and blogs! What a fun adventure it has been!

Frances and Isabel are the subject of most of my layouts and they give me so much material to work with. I love pink, flowers and all things girly. I cannot live without my trusty heart punches! I put a heart on almost every project somewhere. I will also "girl up" pretty much any paper line to use for my two little ladies.

This is my 2 1/2 year old Frances. Don't let the picture fool you! She is my fiesty little one! She loves getting into all kinds of trouble.

And this is my sweet little Isabel. Her picture about sums it up. She is as sweet as they come. She is my little love bug and always wants to be with me. We call her the little Koala because she is always around my waist.

I created this mini album to share with you today. When I first saw this "Garden Girl" mini edgy album I knew it was perfect for the photos of my girls and me on Mother's Day.

I chose the saying "Life doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful" after one of "those days".  Frances wanted a cookie for lunch and I told her no, she had to eat her lunch first. The plate of chicken nuggets, fruit and carrots was thrown all over the floor while she yelled "Mommy I dont want you anymore!" I turned around for a minute and Isabel crawled over to the dogs' water bowl, flipped it over and proceeded to splash around. I still don't know how she crawls that fast! When she tried to start crawling away and her wet knees kept slipping on the floor I couldn't help but laugh. They may not always behave like perfect little angels, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Frances will not take pictures with Isabel so I made a section for each of the girls. Here is Frances's section. I punched holes in one of the noteworthy tags and included it to journal on.

This is Isabel's section. I included another noteworthy tag to put my journaling on for her.

Free For All Friday!

Don't you just love Fridays?  I do!  What could be better than mixing your love of Fridays with your love of Bo Bunny?  The designers today got to do just that!

It's a Free For All!

Anything goes!!  What inspires you?  What collection is calling your name?  Do you have a picture that you are just itching to scrap and haven't made the time to do it yet?  What about a collection that you have been meaning to use and haven't yet?  Do you have left overs of a few collections in your scrap pile?  Maybe it's time to pull them out and mix them up!

It's Friday! Why not treat yourself to a Free For All?

Here is some inspiration from the design team.

First up is Christiane!

Killer Machine

The new Zoology Collection inspired Christiane to make this fabulous layout about her cat and his 'killer' bird catching abilities.  :)  Christiane shows us that Zoology isn't just for trips to the zoo.  It's perfect for pictures of our pets and so much more, too!
