Layout Challenge Friday

user posted image

It's time for another Layout Challenge!

The Challenge is to
Be Inspired By Circles

Just think about all the circles out there. There are circle punches, coluzzle circles, brads, buttons, die-cuts and patterned paper.  Have you been thinking about cutting some of your pictures into circles?  Here is the opportunity to give it a go!  The possibilities are endless!

You will have until December 21 to complete your layout and link it here.

Now, lets let the design team inspire us!

Relaxing
Gabrielle Pollacco

I wanted to use one of the newest collections so I went with Enchanted....but when I think of circles I think of Timepiece so I mixed the two smile.gif ....the photo is one I took of Chloe on a recent Apple Festival day trip we went on, just sitting and relaxing for a moment watching the crowds walk by.

DESIGNER'S TIP: I used some tan and brown chalk ink as well as a bit of mauvey pink chalk ink to color up the background of the Enchanted paper to give it a more vintage look. For a very soft tinting you can use a make-up sponge with the ink or the Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink Applicator/& pad to apply the chalk ink.

Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Enchanted- Moments, Love; Timpiece-TickToc,
6x6 Paper Pad: Timepiece, Welcome Home
Chipboard: Enchanted
Brads: Timepiece, SnowFall
Jewels: Enchanted
Title Alpha Stickers: SnowFall

And next up we have :
 XOXOXO
 Mireille Divjak

I cut the patterned paper in circles because of the challenge. I also used "double dot".. and patterned paper with circles/ dots I used a "circle" title and circle embellishments.
I hope this inspires to work with shapes.

Snowfall Mini Album

How do you feel about mini albums?

I personally love them! They are a real treat to create and they really make one of the best kind of gifts for family and close friends! They can mark a special occasion or be made "just because" Bo Bunny has such a wonderful range of premade mini albums:both pre-printed and plain mini edgy albums, that are just waiting for that personal touch!

and then of course, you could create your mini-album "from scratch" using any Bo Bunny supplies and that is exactly what our designer has done today!

Agnieszka Piskorz has made this mini album as a special Christmas gift for a friend. She has used one of Bo Bunny's newest releases " Snowfall".

Her completed project is gorgeous!

Focus On....Buttons!

For me, buttons are one of those things that were really a big embellishment many years ago, then they sort of faded away....but recently I've seen a resurgence of these beautiful embellishments!  More and more I see them used on layouts and off the page projects!  And not just a scattered button here or there but loads of them!  Take for example this beautiful framed decor project done by our very talented design team member Patti!  She created this incredibly cute tree using Bo Bunny Buttons!...

Aren't these projects beautiful?!  And Bo Bunny has GORGEOUS buttons coordinated for each of their amazing paper collections, so you'll always have the right button embellishment to go with a project!

TIP:  Here is a little tip about using buttons on a project!  Take the time to either stitch it on the project/page or use some twine or string in the button holes.  It goes a long way to adding a beautiful 'finished' look to your project!  Believe me, I've tried both ways and always find I like the look a hundred times better when I take the time to add the twine or thread!

Have you tried using buttons on your projects recently?  Give it a go, you'll find your pages taking on a new and fun look to them! xo
