Today we thought we would have some fun using paper ruffles to dress-up our scrapbook pages and cards! Our design team girls used a variety of methods on their projects, from punched lace ruffles, clean pleated ruffles to water treated paper ruffles. Check out their projects!

"Brighter Than the Sun"
by Gabrielle Pollacco
As I was working on this page my youngest daughter was playing the video/song 'Brighter Than the Sun' by Colby Caillat for me....I found myself choosing the bright and cheerful papers and embellishments in the new Country Garden Collection for my page! I ended up using the song title and lyrics for the page :)
Designer Tip: I created my ruffle by first punching a long strip of plain white paper (using a lightweight paper for this works nicely because you can ruffle it easily). I lightly misted the paper (this makes it easier to crinkle/pleat) .....when it's dry it's very easy to glue it under rounded and wavey paper edges. (See below)
Supplies:
~Patterned Paper: Country Garden (Morning Sunrise, Stripe, Almanac)
~Stickers: Country Garden 12" Sticker Sheet
~Rub-on: Country Garden
~Stamps: Country Garden (Flourish on paper and on Chipboard frame)
~Noteworthy: Country Garden
~Brads: Country Garden
~Trinkets: Country Garden
~Jewels: Country Garden
