Designer Showcase: GABRIELLE POLLACCO

Hi everyone!  It's me, Gabrielle!  And I'm so honored to be today's pick for the Designer Showcase!  I've been on the Bo Bunny design team for many years now, and I have to say it's been such a delight to be among such a talented group of ladies. People sometimes wonder, what is it like to be on this team?  Take it from me, this is one of the warmest most supportive teams I've ever been on!  The girls here are all so complimentary and encouraging of each other, it's really a happy place to be!  And who wouldn't love working with all these gorgeous products every month, right?!!
I just love everything Bo Bunny puts out, but for me, my heart beat a little faster when I saw the NEW Little Miss Collection!  The vintage designs and the beautiful colors had me at a glance and of course with 2 girls to scrap this collection just calls out to me!!  I used a variety of "Little Miss" collection goodies for the above page I made of my two girls taken a few years ago.
Supplies:
Patterned Papers: Little Miss (Jaquoya front & reverse side, Maree, Alice)
6x6 Paper Pad: Little Miss
Brads: Little Miss
Jewels: Little Miss
Chipboard: Little Miss
Combo Stickers: Little Miss
Here are a few close-ups of my page......
I have this weakness for bird cage motifs and you find them all over this collection!  For the above page I cut out the bird cages from the 'Maree' paper and used it as an embellishment for my page, adhering it with pop-dots.
The blooms were handmade by me from scraps of fabric (simple gather), crepe paper streamers (I added a little pink chalk-ink in the centers) and some Bo Bunny Jewels.
What are some of my favourites from the Bo Bunny collections?  For me it has to be the Trinkets and the Brads....check out the brads in the pic above, Bo Bunny really takes them to new heights, don't they!  And I'm so thrilled that they have now come out with coordinating blooms for each of the collections!!
Since this is my day to share a little something about myself, I thought I would give you all a little sneak peek at my craftroom.  I'm planning to do a tour of my scraproom in a few weeks time but I thought I would give you all tiny glimpse of my scrap space today!  I recently got rid of an old toy closet and some broken shelving I had in my scraproom and put in a nice big shelf system with lots of nooks to store my scrap goodies.  Here is a quick snap I took of what I've got done so far.  ....You'll have to come visit my blog in a few weeks time when I reveal my whole scraproom!
I hope you enjoyed my little 'share' about me and the things I love today....Here's my question for you!  What is your favourite Bo Bunny Collection....Ambrosia? Hello Sunshine? Campalot? Country Garden?  I'd love to hear what you love!

Inspired By

The Bo Bunny designers were asked to create a project inspired by this image found on Pinterest.

Here is how they were inspired:
Juliana notes, "I was inspired by the colors in the pillow and the circles reminded me of flowers. I cut out the branch, bird and flower images from the Squiggles Paper and then layered some of the Dimensional stickers on it for more depth and interest."

Love | Juliana Michaels

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Stitches, Burst and Squiggles/Alora
Stickers: Alora Dimensional and Combo Stickers
Buttons: Alora
Chipboard: Alora 12 x 12 and Layered Chipboard

Designer Tip:
For this layout, Juliana cut out the branch and flower image from the Alora Squiggles paper and then added dimension by layering the Alora Dimensional stickers over matching flowers on the branch.  If you want to create more "dimensional" stickers, cut out images from your patterned papers and layer them.  Dress them up with jewels or even glitter glue if desired.

Grumpy & Happy | Julie Tucker-Wolek

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Hello Sunshine, Breezy, Cut Outs, Busy Bee/ Hello Sunshine
Stickers: Hello Sunshine Dimensional Stickers and  Hello Sunshine Combo Stickers
Trinkets: Hello Sunshine
Noteworthy: Hello Sunshine

Designer tip: When working with alphas that blend into your background, I take a black fine tip marker and outline the alphas to make them stand out more!

Debbie shared that, "When I saw this photo I knew that I wanted to create a layout highlighting the circular elements. I created some small lollies and used them as the background of some of the flowers. To continue with the circular elements I used a die cut doily to keep your eye moving around the layout."
