Double Page LO with limited supplies

Hey there..
Today Irene and Sam have made some amazing double page layout
with only the following...

4 sheets of patterned paper
1-2 sheets of cardstock
1 sheet of stickers (can be any of the sticker packages)
1 package of embellishments of your choice

Treasure the Moment
Irene Tan
Note: After this double page layout, there are still some pieces left of the pattern papers and rub-ons. You can use them to create several fast and easy small cards or tags. Clear stamps are very useful when you are scrapping on a budget. Simply just stamped them on some left over pattern papers or cardstocks to instantly create an embellishment for your layouts. or, it could easily be used to create some fast and easy layering by stamping on your layouts.
Don't you just love the detail? And fussy cutting... woot woot
Also, I asked Irene how she did her inking, cuz it looks so even and smooth,
she said: "I always use a sponge to ink my papers.
Either a Cut n Dry or a simple make-up foundation sponge."
Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Dot, Sunrise, Garden, and Cut-Outs/Serenade
Cardstock: Double Dot in Clower Dot
Rub-ons: Serenade
Clear Stamps: Serenade

Good Times and Happy Memories

Designer tip: When working on a double page layout- work on it as a single 24” x 12” rather than two 12”x 12” page that you put together. This I find makes it so much easier to balance all the elements on my layouts! Cutting up the patterned paper helps to “stretch” the paper. It also enables you to repeat patterns.

Bo Bunny Supplies used:
Double Dot: Dark Denim Vintage
Patterned Paper: Detour Quotes, Arrows, Boarding Pass
Stickers: Without a map/ Detour
Chipboard: Detour dimensional chipboard

I hope you all are as in love with these layouts as much as me,
and they inspire you to do great things.  Try using this formula
for your next double hitter and let us know how it goes.

Store Showcase with Cranberry Cat

Today we'd like to tell you a little bit about a store called
One of their tag lines is...
Enjoy prowling through our stuff... and wait until you see the crops they set up!
AMAZING!!
Cranberry Cat has shared 3 double page layouts today
for you to all see and enjoy and gain inspiration from.
I first started this Cranberry Cat  to help some scrapping friends get things we couldn't find.  I was selling out of the back of my car until we first set up at a crop in December 2007.  By that time, I had added my first paper company – yep, you guessed it – Bo Bunny! From there, we grew – and grew!!  Later my hubby (who had retired early) joined me and we set up our online store. We began attending CHA and purchasing more and more products, and now we are one of the biggest “stores” in Pennsylvania.  You see, Cranberry Cat is a web-based scrapbooking store that specialized in bringing our “website” to crops to enhance the scrapping experience.  We bring with us over 13,000 different products in patented mobile units that were custom-designed and built by my hubby.  All of our crop customers say they are easy and fun to shop from.  We carry many major companies’ products with Bo Bunny out-selling them all!
More inspiration from Ambrosia...
People often asked me, "Why Cranberry Cat?"  Well, years ago, I loved cranberry scented candles, however, NOT cranberries!  Years later, I fell in love with cranberry glass that I found in Cape Cod.  I also finally developed a taste for cranberries in things.  My sister & I went on a trip to Cape Cod and one thing on our list to do was find a cranberry bog (yep, they look just like the one in the commercials!).  We finally found one the last day.  Plus we had delicious cranberry nut fudge!  Anyway, I had been trying to come up with a new name for my business that would be fun and have something to do with my other love - CATS!  Then it hit me - Cranberry Cat!  And that's how it started.
Our online business has continued to grow as more and more people around the US and the world find us – they love our quick service, great products and great prices.  We’ve shipped to every continent except Antarctica – probably not going to happen!!
If you are in our area of 350 miles of New Castle, PA (near Pittsburgh) which includes
Pennsylvania and parts of Ohio, New York, West Virginia and Virginia...
click here and see how you can set up
a crop for you and your friends!
We love Bo Bunny and so do our customers.
We want to thank them for featuring Cranberry Cat on their blog.

Happy Scrapping!
Mindy & Doug

We'd like to thank Mindy and Doug as well... we appreciate all you do.

I love how a great sketch and a great set of products can make cardmaking so easy! With a couple of pieces of paper, some scraps of cardstock and a few embellishments, you are good to go!
I seldom send my cards in the mail, so I can really play up the dimension
for hand delivered, cards that are attached to a package or slipped in a bag. Foam dots are
a great and easy way to add dimension to stickers, too.

Supplies Used:
Patterned Paper: Apple Cider and Apple Cider Autumn
Cardstock: Kiwi Dot
Stickers: Apple Cider Giving Thanks
Petals: Apple Cider
Brads: Apple Cider
Ribbon: Chocolate Dot

Thank You
by Carin McDonough

Tip : I made the circular matt for my card by drawing a circle on cardstock and then using one of the smaller flowers from the Serenade stamps to stamp all around the edge of the circle closely together. I then cut around the edge of the flowers leaving a thin margin.
Bo Bunny Supplies Used :
Patterned paper : Trellis, Poppies/Serenade
Double Dot : Orange Citrus Vintage Dot
Stamps : Serenade; Ambrosia
Lace : Harvest Orange Lace
Jewels : Forever Fall; Timepiece
