Meet Our Friends At Scrap4fun!

I am Vera Gieszen, owner of my ravishing scrapbook store Scrap4fun in the Netherlands.
Five years ago, I took over the shop which was located at the back of a farm in a little village. Last year I moved shop to a bigger location in Capelle aan den IJssel (near Rotterdam). In the five years I run it, my store has grown to be a well-known, all-round store for card making and scrapbooking. Scrap4fun is your shop for all your scrapbooking materials and a variety of nice classes for adults as well as for children.

Me and my Design team present our customers new inspiring workshops with the newest techniques, make & takes and many projects to inspire the creative mind. Beginner or advanced? No problem, Scrap4fun is the place to be! As soon as the new products arrive, me and my team get together to divide the collection and make beautiful and inspiring pages, cards or projects.

We offer a warm welcome and a hot coffee or tea to everybody who wants to drop by, whether you come for some serious shopping or just want to browse around and have a chat.

I am proud of the great atmosphere in my store.

The store is loaded with a large range of products, but our favourite brand is Bo Bunny! The paper collections they offer are always surprising, the colours are carefully chosen and the matching embellishments are so beautiful it would be a waste not to use them. Scrap4fun is famous for these Bo Bunny collections and my Design team loves to work with them.

We even organize scrap weekends and monthly scrap marathons. For the marathons the students receive a goody bag full of material to use in the challenge of the day.

Scrap4fun is also known for their scrap retreats. Twice a year we organize a scrapbooking weekend which means a lot of fun from Friday evening till Sunday late afternoon with two classes. One of these classes is always designed by Karen Burniston which guarantees at least one of her great pop up effects. The other class is designed by one of my Design team members.

Every first Friday of the month is free cropping from 10.00 o’clock till 22.00 o’clock and two make & takes in the evening. Check our website for more information www.scrap4fun.nl.

You can also follow us on Facebook: Facebook and our Blog: Blogspot Scrap4fun.

Best Friends

oh boy.. I saw Agnieszka's pencils and didn't look any further. The circular shape reminded me of a ball and since Noah started soccer training with his best friend I knew I had to scrap that

I made a pretty simple boyish layout using lots of circular shapes. Not only in the punches but also in the patterned paper and in the sticker and jewel embellishments.

Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Vines, Pendent, Trellis, dot, stripe, cut outs / Serenade
Combo Stickers: Serenade
Cardstock stickers: Tresured Friend/ Serenade
Jewels: Serenade

Gorgeous! Do you get your creative inspiration from Pinterest? Share your projects with us on Facebook, we LOVE to see what YOU do!

September's Blog Class - Week 2

Hi Friends! Welcome to week 2 and Layout #2.
Just a reminder that these awesome pages were designed by Lynn Shokoples.

I've been at the Mall of America in Minnesota for Archiver's Scrapfest event
this week and picked up a lil somthin somthin in the air, so imagine my voice as
raspy and stuffy.  ha ha, I just didn't want to suffer alone.

Again, the original layout above was made by Lynn and has her cute kids at Disney
on it.  LOVE!  The altered layout below has few changes, but they were needed in order
to get one more layout out of the product for next week.  The 2 biggest changes are:
The blue arrow noteworthy piece going up the right side and the BLOSSOMS....
We still don't have those availiable to purchase so I just switched that up a little.
Reminder: The sizes of the papers you need to cut are on the supply list,
located in the top right hand corner of the blog.

Lynn distressed most of her edges, and I sanded all of mine, so use your favorite technique and
shabby up all the edges of your pieces.

Start with the Boarding Pass paper as your base. Add the big icon piece to the page.
Cut the points on the end of the long icon piece next and add to page.
Then find and cut out the cream bracket from the cutout page and adhere on right of page.

Next, adhere the backside of the 6 x 9 stripe piece to page.
From the "Home Sweet Hotel" sticker place the 'let's take a trip' sticker
in the bottom left corner. (Using an exacto knife, I cute out the inner bracket,
then used popdots on it and placed it in the center so there was a little dimension.

Adhere adhesive on 3 sides of the Coffee Vintage Dot piece (top, right side and bottom)
and adhere to page.  Place brad of your choice in Travel Log Noteworthy and tuck inside pocket.

For cluster in bottom right corner:
Using combo sticker alphabet, place your destination on the "My Contact Info" noteworthy and adhere as shown above. Then place Family Trip sticker (from the 'without a map' sticker set) on bottom right corner of photo mat. (I used pop dots on this piece)
Then from 12 x 12 chipboard and using pop dots adhere sign post to age.
Add layered chipboard piece 'detour' on top of sign post.
Adhere Trinket to chipboard suitcase piece and using pop dots adhere it to bottom right of sign post.

Now go on vacation and add your photo!
How quick and easy was that?  Don't you just love it!!!!???
I do.

Thanks again for playing along with our Destination layout class this month...
you guys are the best!
