Monograms!

Using monograms on scrap layouts is such a fun technique.
You can make them anywhere from 1" to 12" and fit them in on any layer.
Along with monograms it's fun to use the first letter of an event also.
Like a big B is for Birthday's or C is for Christmas.
I've used this technique over and over through the years of scrapping
and never seemed to get tired of it.

Tara used two monograms in her layout... one for each son.

It's EASY to ALTER

Today we've got some fun an easy altered items for you
to try.  With home decor being so popular in the paper world...
we wanted to share a little inspiration with you all.

Bless Your Heart & Home Wall Hanging
by Juliana Michaels
Designer tip: I think it is fun to think outside the box when creating altered projects.
For this wall hanging I used 3 pages from the Apple Cider Mini Album as the base.
I adhered them together overlapping the middle pumpkin onto the other 2 pumpkins.
I then embellished it with a variety of stickers, Noteworthy pieces and fussy cut images.
The little girl, little boy and 4 of the pumpkins are fussy cut from various papers.
I further embellished them with glitter glue and jewels.
I don't know about you guys, but I can't get enough of Apple Cider!

We all have little baskets, boxes or trinkets sitting around that we can alter.
So much love going on for the new blossoms.

Smile
by Romy Veul
Designer Note: To decorate the top of my treasure box I used mainly fussy cut and
sticker flowers that I layered using foam tape. I adhered a trinket and a bee on top
of them and that's it. You don't need a lot to embellish your altered items.

Bo Bunny Supplies:

Thankful Altered Wooden Pumpkins
by Debbie Sherman

Designer Tip: After painting the 2 wooden pumpkins I adhered patterned paper to them using Modge Podge. I then went over them with another coat of modge podge. After they were dry I overlaped the smaller pumpkin to the larger pumpkin and adhered with a glue gun. I then layer my embellishments by using Foam Squares to pop them up, this allowed me to add more embellishments behind my layers giving my project extra dimension.

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Apple Cider Collection:Apple Cider Hickory, Pumpkin Patch, Bounty, Orchard, Afternoon, Dot, Cut Outs
Brads: Apple Cider
Jewels: Apple Cider
Chipboard: Liberty 12 x 12; Apple CiderChipboard
Flowers:Apple Cider Market Petals

Additional Supplies I used:
Foam Squares, Zots Therm O Web
Modge Podge - Plaid
Hot glue and gun
2 Wooden pumpkins
Acrylic Paint in Mango - Plaid
Ink - Colorbox

What do you have laying around that you can alter???  Jump up and go get it,
them make sure you share it with us... we want to see what you come up with.

Fall Release Layouts

After the great response we had to our new fall release...  We thought while the Design Teams product was in the mail to them so they can create wonderful inspiration for you all...  We would show you the samples
that are in our catalog that not everyone ends up seeing...

Made with Love Letter's...
Here is one with our friends Taysha & Nate's engagement photos.
Another Love Letter Layout that showcases the cute
relationship between brother & sister, Kayden & Morgan.

I love that this line has both white and chiffon as a base and can be used for
any kind of loving relationship, not just for V-day.  Family, friends, couples
or even the love for our pets, home, country or hobbies!
Sky's the Limit.

And then the Powder Mountain collection used for a photo of
our cute digi designer Shannon's first snow board outing!

This collection is seriously so much fun... it's like where's waldo...
There are bunnies, birds, logs, bushels, twigs, skis, snowmen, ice skates, snow shoes,
pine cones, mittens, birdhouses and so much more.  You'll have to buy some and see
what you can find. If you have winter photos... this line covers it all.

On to Snow Day....
Talk about versatile, this line is amazing...
The colors are to die for and the papers seriously could be used for anything
from A to Z!  Although the name says 'snow,' don't let that stop you...
You could use this paper for a day at the beach!  Wait til you play with it...
It was "love at first scrap" for me.
Could little Gracie be any cuter????  I say no.
I wanna give a shout out to my FAVE product again...
See the circle coming out of the left side of the page?  It's totally a snow globe from
NOTEWORTHY, turned on it's side.  If I had to choose one embellishment pack,
it would be be noteworthy everytime!

I'm so excited for our new lines to get to the Design Team and to your local & online stores so
you can start posting your creations. I hope you love the lines as much as I did!
