OCT Challenge & a Winner!

Are you ready for a challenge???
It's going to be a fun one.

You'll have 2 pictures to choose from for inspiration and a couple rules.
1. Use at least one tag on your layout.
2. Use at least 2 photos on your layout.

Pick one of these photos for your inspiration....

Now... to see what the DT girls have come up with.
Prepare to be amazed.

Merry Christmas
Irene Tan
Tip: I've picked the second picture as inspiration and used the idea of orange slices to create the sliced circle on this layout. I've cut out the slices from different pattern papers and pieced them together to form the circle

Carin McDonough
I used the first image and the pattern with the glass tiles as my inspiration.
These are older photos of my youngest son that I just love so I had to scrapbook them.
The look on his little face is just classic, I think maybe he just suddenly saw a pattern forming
and a future of having his picture taken constantly!

Limited supplies? No problem.

Today we are using the formula we've used in the past to create our projects.
I know there are some of us out there that like to cram something into every little space on our pages (me)
But you really can get great results with just a few products.
Here's the formula in case you forgot...

3 sheets of patterned paper
1 sheet of cardstock
1 sheet of stickers
1 package of embellishments of your choice

Candy Cane
Jolanda Meurs

Supply List:
Patterned paper: Mistletoe Twas the night/Pucker up/Chevron
Cardstock: Double Dot Wasabi Flourish
Stickers: Mistletoe Combo stickers
Extra embellishments: Clover Daisy Blossoms

Je T'aime
Romy Veul
Designer Tip: Something I always do when I make lay-outs, is cutting away all parts of the paper that aren't visible on the front side. For example when I matted my lay-out on the 'Flower' paper I cut out an 11x11" square from the inside. I like to use a lot of layers on my lay-outs and in this way I can do so without using a lot of paper.

Supply List:
Patterned Paper: Flowers, Keyes, Notes/ Love Letters
Double Dot Cardstock: Chiffron Flourish
Stickers: Love Letters Combo Sticker, Love Letters Dimensional Stickers

Christmas
Robbie Herring

On Robbie's recipe, she substituted ribbon for cardstock.
That's what recipe's are all about.. and or subtract a little and make it your own.
 Supplies Used:
Patterned Paper Mistletoe Dots (2) and Mistletoe Stripe
Stickers: Mistletoe Combo
Chipboard: Mistletoe 12x12

 Happy Birthday
Agnieszka Piskorz
 Supplies Used:
