All that SPARKLES..

At Bo Bunny we love things that glitter, shine and SPARKLE!

Today's only rule is to sparkle!

Dear Santa
Juliana Michaels

To add some sparkle to my layout I used glittered paper and then cut it into strips and punched small strips to create borders and to help ground the title. I also added a little more sparkle with the use of Bo Bunny Jewels on the snowflakes and stars.

Note: I've added some glitter glue such as "Stickles" on the flowers and some small rhinestones on the hearts to add some sparkle to the layout. To add some sparkle around the photograph, I've used Art Anthology's sorbet to paint a circle around my subject in the photograph.

It's amazing what you can do with very little

Today we are scrapping with our formula.

FORMULA
3 sheets of patterned paper
1 sheet of cardstock
1 sheet of stickers (can be any of the sticker packages)
1 package of embellishments of your choice

You're thinking.... hmmm, that's not a lot of supplies.
Don't worry.... you can still get ULTIMATE results.

Check out the layouts from the girls using Powder Mountain
and Snow Day... Kinda makes me want to play in the snow. (If we had any)

Winter Wonderland

Designer Note: After making this lay-out I still had some pieces of paper and plenty of embellishments from my packages left over. You could for example use them to make a card or tag. The pieces of paper would be perfect to cut shapes with your dies too. Just let your creativity flow!
 Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Powder Mountain, Lodge, Stripe/ Powder Mountain
Double Dot Cardstock: Gingerbread Dot
Stickers: Powder Mountain Layered Chipboard Stickers
Rub-ons: Powder Mountain

Winter 2012

Patterned Paper: Nightfall, Words, Flakes/ Powder Mountain
Stikers: Combo Stikers Powder Mountain, Dimensional stickers Powder Mountain

Love you this much

Designer Tip: If you're anything like me, I like to hoard some papers because "You never know when you might have the perfect photo or occasion!!"To help "stretch" patterned paper I like to choose papers like Snow Day Journal. There are many elements you can cut up to create the layered effect without using more than one page.
For example: On my layout Journaling block, my title and the mitten and snowflake strips are all cut from "Snow Day Journal" The backing patterned paper placed on the cardstock is the reverse of"Snow Day Journal" = NO WASTE
Bo Bunny Supplies:
Cardstock :Ocean dot/Double dot
Patterned Paper: Trees, Journal / Snow Day
Noteworthy: Snow Day
Blossoms: Plum Purple zinnia, Clover Zinnia

So.... if you don't want to spend a lot and don't have a lot of time,
Use our formula and see what you can come up with.
We'd love to see it, come play with us on facebook, we chat and share all day.

Designer Showcase - Tara Orr

Today we are spotlighting Tara Orr. Tara's projects ooolways make me want to scrap.
You're going to fall in love with the Love Letters collection!
I love all the layers and dimension she adds, her projects have so much character and
every time I look I find something new I didn't see before.
And seriously, she has ADORABLE subjects to scrap!

Hi everyone! Can't believe Bo Bunny wants to spotlight little ol' me!! Well, I've created a special project for a special friend - please take a peek! This mini album was made for a sweet friend and contains the most adorable photos of her grand daughter, Lexi, who has just turned 1! There were another 2 pages that I designed for this mini but I ended up posting the album before taking photos as I wanted to ensure that this lovely lady would receive before Christmas.
