Life in Color and Pentart Media Inks with Kathi

Kathi here today to share with you my Valentine Cards in a heart tin. I added media ink to the top of the lid with an applicator using a dabbing technique.

Both cards inside of metal tin heart.\

The fronts of the cards have three layers, card stock, light chipboard then patterned paper. The front of the cards were then prepped using gesso.  Then structure paste was used with the Cascade Stickable Stencils to create texture on the cards. At that point,  I mixed Dekor Paint Soft in Denim and Creamy Acrylic in White to paint over the texture. Olive media ink was used to color the metal butterfly and magenta media ink on the metal flower. Creamy Acrylic in Metallic Red Copper was used to color the wood chipboard words and the flowers were cut from Life in Color paper using the Perfect Petal dies with Aqua and Emerald brads. Embellished with chipboard, I then die cut a crown using Royal dies. The chipboard lock and key as well as the crown was accented using glossy accents.

Gold media ink was used to color the metal flower, then finished with an aqua brad. The chipboard lock and key was accentuated with glossy accents. Perfect Petal die was used to create all the flowers from the paper collection with varied colors of Double Dot brads in the center of each.

Using the bead paste and adding Morning Glory media ink, then mixing in the 3D powder and 3D balls.  I added this fun texture to the upper right side of one of the cards creating a cool effect and finishing it off by dabbing it with Dekor Soft in Denim paint. Dripping media ink in Olive, Morning Glory and magenta over the finished texture then positioning the word "Love" over the 3D balls.

As a final touch, Olive and Magenta media inks were used to color the metal embellishments, I hope you like this project. Such fun to play with colors and textures!

Life in Color and Pentart Media Inks w Ayumi

Hello Bo Bunny Friends,

Today I will introduce canvas layout using the Life In Color collection from Bo Bunny with Pentart Media Inks.

Love by Ayumi Iwashita

Layered Chipbord of the Life In Color collection is shiny, very beautiful and gorgeous.

3D balls lends a really interesting textured effect because of the variation of shape and size.

This is it . . .

Apply Acrylic Paint Metallic (Blue) around the canvas.

Metallic is shiny and very beautiful.

The next step is spray Glimmer Sprays (Mint, Frost, Gold) closer to the canvas.

Prepare transparent paper (3 sheets) and white paper (1 sheet) and stick on the canvas.
Stick white paper under the transparent paper.

Drop a few drops of media inks on transparent paper.

Stand the canvas so that the ink flows downward, in a kind of dripping pattern.

Also, lay the canvas sideways so that it flows down sideways.

Use the Media Ink Diluent, it blurs the ink and gives a cool variation in the shade and depth of the colors..

Do you see the difference?

`Cut small aluminum foil, then wrinkle it up a bit.

Stick it on the canvas.

Drop the Media inks on the aluminum foil as well.

Doodles Stamp with black ink.

Finally, I paint Glossy Varnish on the canvas and dry it.

When the canvas is completed, you can decorate this further with pattern paper, chipboard, and D balls as shown

Thanks for joining me today.

Have a fabulous day!

Life in Color and Pentart Media Inks with Marilyn

Hello everyone! Marilyn here with you today to share One Layout in Three Ways, three different stages during the creative process of my page until I get the final result.

I'm using the new beautiful Life in Color collection and the Pentart Media Inks.

Here are the three different stages on my layout: Basic, Intermediate and Advanced.

I started my #1 basic- layout creating textures on the paper. First, I applied gesso with a paintbrush  and  made big paint splashes with the Pentart Media Ink in the Coral-blue color on the paper. Next, I added textures with the Serenity Stickable stencil and gesso and added dimension with the Life in Color chipboard.  I'm going to explain you how I did the washi tape that I added to the background..
I put three pieces of masking tape over my craft mat.
I painted the "masking tape" with the Pentart media ink in orange and coral blue colors.

I stamped the tapes with the new  Doodles Stamp and a permanent ink.

" Intermediate Level"

I added more phones and images that I cut out from the papers and to add  dimension I used 3D tape foam on some of the phones.
I put some Aqua Brads and made white paint splatters over the page. I cut out one frame from Utopia paper to place my photo.
I made some gears with the "Gearing Up Dies"
 "Advance Level"
In the Third Level, I added pearls from the Emerald Jewels and added more textures with the Pentart 3D Powder with the express glue. Once the 3D powder was dry, I painted it with the Pentart Media ink- orange color. Finally, I covered the photo then I added white paint splatters over all the area.
 "Advance Level"
Here's the final result a layout with lot of textures, layers and dimension
I hope you find some inspirations! Here is the full list of products ...

Hello BoBunny fans,
I'm so excited to be showing you a scrapbook page made with one of the fabulous new lines - Life in Color, teamed up with Pentart's Porcelain and Glass Paints and a couple of fun techniques.

Awesome Scrapbook Page by Katherine Sutton using BoBunny Life in Color

I started the page with the Glass and Porcelain paints and the Alphabet Stickable Stencil.  I stuck my letters on a sheet of acetate in order, it is really handy that the Alphabet stencil has repeats on letters.  I then layered a piece of acetate on top of my stencil and used the lead contour liner to draw around the edge of the letters.  I did practice a couple of letter first to get the hang of it, like the pressure needed and the speed at which the paint flows from the contour liner.

The lettering doesn't have to be perfect as you can go in afterwards, once it has dried, with a cocktail stick and gently scrape off any of the contour liner that is not quite in the right place.  Once the liner had dried I then painted Apple-Green Glass and Porcelain paint in the middle - the color goes a long way, so you don't need to use that much to get the vibrant green.  Another great thing about these paints is that they are water-based, so you it's really easy to clean your brushes afterwards and they don't smell.  I set it aside to dry and they dried quite quickly.

For my page I started with a couple of rolled tears in the Life in Color paper, and then used the Lots of Love Stickable Stencil with white structure paste.  Once that was dry I added a layer of gel medium over the top as I didn't want the mists that I was going to use on top to sink into the paper too much.  The gel medium does a nice job of protecting your layers of mixed media.  I could have done this step before doing the stenciling, but it works either way.  The gel paste was dry in about 5 mins as it was only a thin layer.  I used the Frost and Gold Glimmer sprays with a paintbrush and added those around the structure paste, watering them down a little as I went. Next I used silver metallic wax paste.  A little real goes a long way with this and I rubbed it into patches over the structure paste with a very light touch with my finger. You can see it in-between the gold and blue mist below - it has a beautiful iridescent shine.

I added some of this paste to the blue frames that I cut from the Graphic paper, and also the lock and key die cuts from the new Royal Dies.  I used orange and lead contour liners to colour in some of the numbers on the left hand side of the Life in Color paper, once they were dry I then added a layer of silver wax to bring out any unevenness on the surface (you can see this in the photo)

As the Porcelain and Glass paints have such a nice sheen to them I sprinkled some drips over gold over the page - the gold has plenty of mica in it so it looks really pretty.

For my final technique I used the gearing up stamps and painted on a layer of black gesso, rather than ink.  Just a note if f you get the stamps straight into cold water after you have used them they clean up fairly quickly - don't let the paint dry on them as it is much harder to get off.  I then sprinkled on some of the Rust effect powder and painted on the different regeants.  You can see a partial change in colour straight away, but it really develops over the next 24 hours.

I hope that's brought you lots of inspiration and you enjoy this paper line as much as I do.

Life in Color and Pentart Glass and Porcelain Paint with Shizuka

Hello BoBunny friends! It's Shizuka here today.

I have two sons, nine years old and three years old. Sometimes when their friends came to visit our house, I thought it would be fun if I had a small welcome corner and made it with BoBunny new collection "LIFE IN COLOR".

In a small corner of the room, I joined the frame, record and circle cut out from the pattern paper with a string and hung from the ceiling. They direct a very pleasant atmosphere.

I also handmade some Photoprops. The mustache was hand-drawn and cut. Round eyeglasses were made using the lid of Mason Jar as a pattern. Some fun facial photoprops were made using BoBunny new "Emoji"craft dies. In addition I added a bottle decoration. I applied a BoBunny Stickable stencil to a plain bottle. Because it is a stencil with adhesive strength it is easy to follow along the curve of the bottle. And a little mixing Pentart Glass and Porcelain paint in Gold and the Apple Green. Since the color was dark as it was, I added a Pentart Medium for Glass and Porcelain Paint and made it a little lighter in tone. I used a sponge brush to apply, but a fine hair artist brush turns out well too.

Here is another bottle where I used Glass and Porcelain Paint in Gold.  i used a simple cotton swab to achieve an even small dot pattern.  I think this turned out very well and was so easy to do.

After drying, this paint will be water resistant if it is heated for 30 minutes in an oven at 200 ° F or for 10 minutes with a 700 watt microwave oven.

I pasted pattern paper on the letters of the "Welcome" board. It was a bit too long for the 12" width of the paper.  It was simple enough to piece it together by layering the pieces of brick inconspicuously.

I hope that you will enjoy my project.

Thank you!!
