Make A Splash and Pentart Mixed Media with Elena

Hello!

Elena S. here today!  I want to show you the cheerful Party of Penguins made for a children's holiday! I used the tremendous collection Make a Splash! Cheerful figures of penguins, cockleshells, palm trees give this a wonderful look! And for a base I have taken an old cigar box which has been painted with Pentart mixed media.  For the general background I have taken two pages to start from this fun collection!

Let's look and we will plunge into the anxiously anticipated time of year - warm, carefree summer!

At first I have covered the box in Gesso white.

Then I have added a little of Pentart's 2 component Cracking Paint System.

And for a background it is a little Creamy Acrylic Blue.

The sea background has turned out!

This fun seaside adventure of penguins can be used also at a children's birthday party, and at friendly parties in sea style, and just to create the wonderful summer atmosphere with children and to dream together of long-awaited summer!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today!

Have a nice day!

Petal Lane and Pentart Lasur for Interiors with Elena O

Hello, this is Elena with you here today, and I've a got a couple of simple Valentine's Day Cards to share.

Valentine Day Cards, by Elena Olinevich product by BoBunny

While creating the cards, I wanted to try the new Pentart Lasur for Interiors treatment. I read the instructions thoroughly and realized that it works perfectly on wooden surfaces. The paint is quite liquid, however I wanted to create a papercraft project.  This is how it turned out...

So, to start, I decided to try the paint on a piece of a cork. Why not? It's quite porous, and I wondered how the paint would absorb into the cork.

I colored the heart shape piece of cork, the whole piece for the first card and most of the half of it for the second card.

What I have found is that the paint soaked nicely the cork and you still can see the texture of it. I    think it's great and I'm sure it works perfectly on the wood surface too.

I also applied the glitter paste on the black background using the hearts stencil.

And I used the Selfie Dies to make the frames and the arrows.

The Glitter Paste creates a texture on the background, and actually the cork adds the dimension too.

To make it look more festive I added the Hearts Foil Transfers.

Thanks for stopping in today.

Petal Lane and Pentart Lasur for Interiors with Ulrika

Fine Art on Easel by Ulrika Wandler

Hi all you scrappin' people out there! Ulrika here to show you this fine art piece and easel treated with Pentart Lasur which I made.

I started with using Pentarts Lasur for indoor use on the wooden easel.

When the lasur had dried I used the Pentart metallic Wax Paste and applied it gently with my fingertip. Both are easy to use.

Then I made this canvas, starting with making a crackle background with Pentart crackle paint. I have used papers and embellishments from the brand new Petal Lane collection!

I love how the ebony-colored lasur paint makes the perfect background for the pink and yellow fine art!

Petal Lane and Pentart Lasur Gel with Rhonda

Beautiful Vintage Page by Rhonda Van Ginkel

BoBunny Petal Lane Collection and Pentart Lasur Interior Gel in Country Rose Mixed Media Scrapbook Page designed by Rhonda Van Ginkel

Greetings and welcome to the blog, I have a mixed media project featuring the beautiful new Petal Lane collection for you today. I've used the Pentart Lasur Interior Gel in Country Rose three different ways on my project.

The first way I used it was to mix just a touch of White Gesso with it and lightly dry brush along the edges of the foundation paper and rub it in.

I then used the Brocade Stickable Stencil and some Sugar Glitter Paste and applied a bit of iridescent sparkle to the page. After this was applied, small splatters of Gold, Sugar and Bronze Glimmer Spray were added randomly. Note the centers for a few of my florals here, want to see how I colored them?

I knew I wanted to use some of the very pretty floral Noteworthy die cut shapes and wanted to embellish the centers with some of the 3D balls, but wanted to color coordinate them. I placed a variety of them into a small zip lock baggie.

To lighten the color just a touch, I added in some White Gesso with the Lasur Gel and blended together. Carefully, I added it into the baggie and gently worked the color mixture through.

When completed, I cut the sides and top of the baggie off and laid open to separate, added a few mists of Sugar Glimmer Spray on top, then set aside to dry.

One last use, I took some of the remaining Lasur Gel and applied a nice coating on top of the Chipboard Laser Die Cut Tag. I then misted a few sprays of Silver Glimmer Spray and set aside to dry. Once dry, I added a touch of stamping randomly to coordinate with the random stamping on the page.

I accented a small bit of the stamping with a very light touch of Pentart Wax Paste Metal in Silver.

Petal Lane and Pentart Lasur for Interiors with Amy

Hello BoBunny friends,

Amy with you today showing you how to create a gorgeous layout using the fabulous Petal Lane collection. And then using Pentart Lasur paint to show you how you can add extra dimension to your paper.
Lets begin.  Layout 1

When creating with your dies or cut-files remember you can always layer underneath to fill the gaps. This cut-file I used two other pieces of cardstock both sides to fill in the flower.

Now Layout 2 - Fussy fussy fussy cut

This is especially for the paper hoarder like myself who always gets two of every cardstock. I fussy cut around the flower borders to create an extra layer for those flowers. You will need to raise your photo onto foam adhesive as well as your fussy cut so you can appreciate the detail later on.

Layout 3 - Lets get our hands "messy" with Pentart Lasur

Now, I would like to show you how much fun it is to paint with Pentart Lasur for Interior on your layout to add that "Va Va Voom".  Instead of using your enamel dots that I know you are keeping, use the back of your paint brush and with the pointy end create of dots around your layout. Adding that yellow paint has tied in the other yellow just that little more.

So here you are. . . One Layout Three Ways using Petal Lane and Pentart Lasur.

Stay Scrappy!

Amy

Hello BoBunny Fans!

It's Denise here today to share an art journal board, using the pretty and gorgeous Petal Lane and Pentart Lasur.

Art Journal Board by Denise van Deventer using BoBunny Petal Lane and Pentart Lasur

The first thing I did was to apply 2 layers of the Pentart Lasur to my board. This gave it a great stained look.  Thereafter, I used stickable stencils and crackle paste, along with distress inks to create the background and the word "create".  Here's a closer look.

Once I had applied the crackle paste, I allowed it to dry and then I used distress inks and blended the colours together. I then fussy cut a lot of elements and layered them up and added lots of white acrylic spray and splodges.

I really took inspiration from the gorgeous circles and artsy bits in the circles, from the patterned paper.  I just know that I will be back to use more of those gorgeous circles.

This little board is going to go  up on my wall in my craft room to inspire me and also remind me to try new things and be inventive.

I hope you will check out the Petal Lane papers and also be inspired.

Have a super day and we hope to see you back tomorrow.
