SPRING! papercrafting Saturday with Ayumi

Hello BoBunny friends!! It's Ayumi here.
Today I will introduce the 12" layout I made with BoBunny Serendipity collection and Pentart products.

[remember] 12" layout  By Ayumi Iwashita

First of all, I use a stencil paste to make a pattern on the paper.  Works AWESOME with BoBunny Thick Stencils

Next, draw a pattern using a glitter paste and a stickable stencil.

Then I will decorate the pattern paper and flower and finish it.
Something like a round stone is 3D balls.

I colored this with a Glimmer spray.

And a small sequins shining gold sparkle is Gold Confetti paste.

Thanks for joining me today.

Enjoy your scrappy day!

Fine Art and Mixed Media with Katherine

Hello everyone, welcome to another Fine Arts Friday. Today I have re-purposed an old frame that had seen better days.

Katherine Sutton - Life is a Journey

Life is a Journey Frame by Katherine Sutton using BoBunny Serendipity

The collection I used for this project was Serendipity - the feathers, butterfly and chipboard are all from this range, the colours also co-ordinate really well with some of the Pentart acrylics.  I used lots of the Pentart crackle medium - I love this product, as you create your paint layer below, then add some of the medium, once it's dry you paint over the top and all the cracks appear - it works well on paper as well as wood.

For the base I used a square of Treetops which has a beautiful pink dot on it and stuck this to the base of the frame.  I then used dark blue, antique gold, light green and pink creamy acrylics - I added pea sized amounts to a brayer and rolled it onto the paper.  I added some white gesso over the top and a little bit of the glamour metallic rich gold as well.

I painted the whole of the frame gold using the antique gold acrylic, then added some patches of crackle medium and then I went over the top with white gesso.  I did add a little bit more in the areas where you could see the gold still - a white acrylic would have worked better in terms of coverage.  I then used the flower fun stencil to create some swirls with the 3D Texture Paste, and also added some areas of crackle medium on top of the paper inside the frame.  I used one of the large blush dahlia flowers and altered the colour with some white gesso.  I then added bits of embellishment from the Noteworthy and chipboard collections.

I also added some bead paste at the base of my flower, and covered it with rich gold glamour paint, you can also see the mandala die cut peaking out behind the flower and some of the 3D Balls which I coloured with bronze glimmer spray and more rich gold.  I also added little bits of the greenish silver glamour paint - applying it with my finger in areas around the frame.

You can see the layers of paint and the crackle effect on both the wood and paper, as well as a little bit of sparkle from the sugar glitter paste.

In the top corner I added a banner from the Noteworthy collection and a smaller one from the layered chipboard.

One Layout, Three Ways featuring Serendipity and Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my One Layout, Three Ways BoBunny post.
This kind of project is very creative as you can always change the first layout, to add more embellishments, to add some Mixed Media touches and to make the first version totally different from the third one.  It's all for your inspiration!

For this layout I used Serendipity collection, basic Double Dots cardstock, new BoBunny craft dies and clear stamp sets and just one single BoBunny medium.

So I  actuallymade this a classic "Scrapbooking" layout and not a Mixed Media project, but in between all Mixed Media and altered project I decided to stay true to a real scrapbooking style we are all familiar with for years.
"You are Amazing" layout by Irit Shalom

This is how this layout looked as the first version: background cardstock, patterned paper layers, big and nice photo of my dear daughter, some chipboards embellishments and a couple of layered chipboards that made the title and the sub- titles of this page.

On the second version I just added a few more embellishments.

As you can see there is an upper banner made from Noteworthy die cuts and chipboards.

The birds and bird houses cluster was added on the left of the photo.

The tab  " documented" gave some bright color to the pastel photo and the blue of the tab was the color for the die cut pieces made with BoBunny new dies.

She is my Queen and has the key to my heart and so I added the die cut crown and a die cut key near the " My love" title.

And to make the layout a kind of classic scrapbooking page I made hand written journalling on the banner piece under the photo.

As for me the second layoutt was done, but wait! How about version 3?

So here is the final version of this layout- how about some background stamping and added pearl dots?

I didn't change anything inside the page, but made the stamped " frame" using script and flowers stamps and added a few light pink " enamel" dots made with BoBunny Tutu Pearlescents paint.

And now, as always, here is a full BoBunny supply list for you to use:
