DIY Planner featuring Dreams of Autumn with Angela

Hi Everyone,

It's Angela here with you today and I'm thrilled to share with you my first DIY Planner that I've ever made!

First of all, I'd like to show you how I made the planner without binding, because I simply folded a few A4 size sheets of paper and glued them together to create the spine.

I kept in place the planner with paperclips and let it dry.

After that, I decided to color the edge of the planner.

I used a generous amount of VersaMark and a generous amount of Patina Effect Powder by Pentart, using a brush. It's a bit messy, as you can see, but it's worth it!

Be careful to keep the pages strictly closed to avoid the powder to dirty the inside.

For the first page of the planner, I wanted a spread on the whole month of October, so I created a grid, simply using a fine tip marker and a ruler.

For making the frame of flowers, I cut a piece of paper of the same size of the grid and glued it on the grid self with a removable glue.

Than, the fun part!

I took my Flower Garden Stamp set and started stamping randomly, all around the page, using first the bigger flowers and finishing with the smallest one, to fill in all the white spaces.

Here is the beginning of the setup of the planner. The little icons are another stamp set by BoBunny, a must-have for any planner addict!

For the title October, I diecut the letters using he BoBunny craft dies using the leftover of the cardstock used for the cover

And the cover?

Here it is!

This adorable fox will keep me company for all the month of October!

Dreams of Autumn and a GORGEUS Mixed Media with Marilyn

Hello Everyone! It's Marilyn here with you today! I'm going to share a Mixed Media layout with the beautiful Dreams of Autumn collection. Let's take a look...

I adore this paper called "Fall" with the knitting design.  It goves so much texture and depth to this.  Yum! I started applying a light coat of gesso to the paper. I gave textures with the Primer Gesso and the Backsplash Thick Stencil.

I cut out all these pretty leaves and nuts from the Noteworthy paper. I cut by half a brown handcrafted blossom and adhered it behind the photo and the other half near the title.

I adhered 3D Powder with the Express Glue to give more textures on the background. I painted a piece of cheesecloth in green and brown colors to bring an organic look to the page, I cut it to pieces and adhered around the leaves and photo.

I cut the pennant with the beautiful word from the Noteworthy paper and used it as my title. Finally, I added some gems, brads and pearls.

You can see from this angle the dimension and textures on the page.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you find some inspiration.

Until next time!

Marilyn Rivera

Happy Holidays Card Love-Video Tutorial with Carousel Christmas and Ginny

Hello BoBunny Peeps! I'm just so thrilled to be sharing my first project using the new Carousel Christmas Collection. I'm convinced that they designed this for me. I mean it's got soft pretty colors, large florals, and loads of cut aparts that I can layer to my hearts content. I've created a card with a video tutorial so you can make one for yourself.

I went all out on the layers for this card.  And can you blame me? There are just so many gorgeous elements and I want to use them all!!!!

The Ephemera pack has fabulous  patterned papers that compliment the collection and I chose this stripe with the flower border as the base for all the paper pretties.

The fussy cutting was well worth it when I can create an arrangement like this! Notice the chipboard snowflake? Yep....new favorite BoBunny item.

This lovely and festive frame is cut from the Christmas Card Die and to make it extra special I added a coat of Sugar Glitter  Paste to make it sparkly.

Please enjoy this video I've prepared for you on how I created this card....
