Misc Me-Head Over Heels

Enjoy this fabulous Misc Me from Megan Gourlay using the Head Over Heels collection to create a wedding keepsake for her friend.

What a perfect gift!!

Pocket scrapbooking has been around for awhile now and I have thought about giving it a go but that was as far as it went.  Forbes and I were not blessed in having children and I think that is what put me off it.  I had this idea - turns out ridiculous idea - that this side of scrapping was really only suited to those with children, with so much going in their lives its the quickest way of documenting that.  Then I was given the assignment to use Misc Me with Head Over Heels collection and while deciding on what photos I could use I realised that at a 8x9in size they are perfect for a mini album, and that was all I needed to spur me on.

My friend Megan (such a fab name), got married last year just before Christmas and used red as the colour theme for her wedding, so Head Over Heels was perfect!

Sometimes I've used pieces of 12 x 12 papers to create my base page, like the 6 x 4 piece above and created my own cluster from elements from the Misc Me cards.

Ive also used some packaging, mixing and matching some of the sticker elements as well as doodling around the outside resting a border which ties in with the whole theme of the collection.

I kept this page simple because I didn't want to detract from the photos - these two are my favourites! The base page I kept simple as well, using the negative from a Silhouette cut out a friend had given me.

So really don't be scared!  Don't be put off!  Its dead easy and with Misc Me all the hard work is done for you, all you have to do is just add your embellishments.  I ended up with a lovely Misc Me that Megan adores and along the way I proved to myself that pocket scrapbooking was easier than I thought and didn't just have to be for the day to day events or only for those lucky people with children.  Im now planning on using it for my husbands car club events :)
