Step-By-Step

BACK TO SCHOOL GIFT

Hello all!

Kristen here with a cute and quick back to school project perfect to start the year off for all the wonderful teachers out there.

This set includes a note card set, pencil gift, gift bag and even an apple for the teacher!

First off- I want to show you how I came up with this fun tag using Bobunny Stamp and Store stamps. Here is what you need. Clear stamps and blocks, a nice juicy ink pad, deco scissors, a scrap sheet, and cardstock.

First off, I used my cricut machine to cut a 1 3/4 inch circle from some scrap paper, then I used my journal stamp from Stamp and Store Write On! to add lines to the cardstock, stamping over the scrap circle onto my cardstock, the scrap paper acts as a mask to keep the rest of the paper clean.

Then I used the middle circle dot stamp from Stamp and Store Elements to stamp my circle around the lines.
This gives you the basic image for your tag, from here you can do just about anything with the tag.

Use a large circle punch, and punch out the circle tag.

Or use your deco scissors to cut out scallops around the tag.

Punch a hole, or leave it solid. From here, your possibilities are endless.
I also used my cricut to cut out an apple shape, then I punched a small leaf and glued it over the red stem, and popdotted it, adding it to my tag.

For the note cards set, I used two strips of double dot cardstock, layering the larger red under the smaller green. I added the strip towards the top of the card.

I also added a "just a note" greeting with an old stamp letter set. Perfect for year round teacher notes home.

Tie your note cards and envelopes up with a sweet twine bow.

Add a mess of pencils, tie them with a bow of double dot ribbon to hold them together, then add another apple tag.

I also decorated my gift bag to match the set, you can add one more tag with to.. and from..
to finish off the set. And there you go, tags with potential and a cute little back to school gift.
