Hey there! Happy Monday to you. Today I want to share with you one of my favorite Bo Bunny products. RUB-ONS!!! I've had a serious scrappy obsession over these things since the day they hit the market! They are a fun, easy way to add instant character and detail to any project. If you are like some scrappers, rub-ons may be a little frightening to use at first but hopefully this will inspire you to pull them out of your stash and play!

There are several ways I've used them on this card created with the "Summer Bash" rub-ons. See the white button in the photos above? Look how cute it is with a simple flower rub-on applied to it. You can embellish your embellishments with rub-ons! HA! Add them to chipboard, flowers, ribbon.... try them anywhere! If your rub-ons are large enough you can even use them as a major element on your page and create your own background papers. I used the large corner ones on this card against plain white cardstock so they would stand out. Cut your rub-ons up too! Notice how I have the circular shaped one peeking out from under the Kiwi double-dot? Well.... I still have the other half of that rub-on to use on another project. Same with the star rub-on borders.

I'm sure the creative possibilities are endless with rub-ons but I will show you a few more of my favorite ways to play with them. The Sun Shiny Day set that coordinates with Sun-Kissed were perfect for creating embellishments to add to my layout. Everything but the cloud on the right side of this layout is actually a rub-on that I applied to white cardstock then hand-cut to create a summery scene. Rub-ons don't have to be directly applied to your projects. I love the dimensional look so after applying them to cardstock and cutting them out... I used pop-dots to make them stand up off my page. Then I added buttons to them once I've adhered them. See the sun and the middle flower. Fun stuff huh?

I love rub-ons - one of my favorite ways to use them is to make easy peasy handmade ornaments - just glass ornament and a quick little rub on - throw some glitter or paper curls inside and instant ornament.
