TAG! Your'e it!

Today's post is all about tags! Big tags, little tags, hidden tags and tags with photos. Our designers have come up with some clever and creative ways to use tags on their layouts. Just see for yourself how great tags can be...

Mom Knows Best
By Irene Tan

I love how Irene created these large tags and mounted her photos on them. It brings attention to these precious photos.

Here is a close up of the gorgeous flowers she crafted out of the Vicki B papers. And do you see the little tag with the title? It's a great compliment to the large tags with the photos.

Supplies used: Vicki B Bazzillion, Vicki B Buh-Bye, Vicki B Florilicious, Vicki B Stripe, Vicki B Cut Out, Vicki B Combo Sticker, Mom Knows Best CS Sticker, Vicki B Brads, Vicki B Clear Stamp, Vicki B Jewels, Vicki B Layered Chipboard, Noteworthy Vicki B, Cranberry double dot ribbon, CB Swirls Chocolate. My Father, My Hero
by Debbie Sherman

How creative is this? Debbie created a large tag and pocket to hold the tag. The crocheted accents bring attention to her beautiful tag.

The Best Day Ever
By Samantha Wright

Samantha chose to use lots of little tags on her layout. They make great embellishments for this fun and happy layouts.

Supplies used: Double Dot Ocean Stripe, Double Dot Buttercup Dot, Ad Lib Improv, Ad Lib Pebbles, Ad Lib Life's Good Cardstock Stickers, Ad Lib 12" Combo stickers, Ad Lib Brads, Bo Bunny Double Dot ribbon. Other supplies: Cricut cartridge "George and Basic shapes", Chalk ink, Papermania mini brads, pen, prima crystals.

Designer tip: When creating a strip of ribbon I cut a thin strip of "strong" or heavy duty card and tie the ribbons to this. The ribbon strip can then be stuck to your LO in a single strip. Easier and less fuss. :0)

Out on a Limb
by Robbie Herring

Such a fun layout for such a fun photo! I love how Robbie created pockets on her layout to add the tags. The design fits perfectly with this fun, playful layout.

Designer Tip: I am always stitching around the edges of my layouts. I decided that I would stitch pockets to allow tags to be placed around the edges. The stitches not only attached my papers together, the unusual pattern added another design element within the layout.

Supplies Used: Ad Lib Collection Paper Stripe, Verbiage and Scribbles. Ad Lib 12x12 Chipboard, Layered Chipboard, Dimensional Stickers, Noteworthy, Life's Good Stickers and Buttons. Double-Dot in Coffee Dot.

Other Supplies: Holly Doodle Alphabet and DMC Floss.

Thanks for coming by today. I hope you are leaving with lots of new ideas to use tags on your layouts!
