Flowers, flowers and a flourish or two.

"A thing of beauty is a joy forever"(anon) or so the quote says and flowers have a way of brightening the dullest day! Whether it be that little "weed" firmly grasped in a little child's hand as a simple gift for mom or a bouquet of glorious summer flowers, the result is always the same- a smile!!

I have the great pleasure in sharing with you three beautiful layouts by three very talented Bo Bunny designers. Each one unique and all with handmade flowers. You are sure to be inspired!

Sliders
By Debbie Sherman

The vibrant colours of the new Ambrosia collection really add to the feeling of fun and joy in this layout. There are lots of details you will not want to miss.....
These close ups show the detail of the fabulous flowers. Notice the use of glitter- a bit of sparkle never hurts!
Debbie used the Bo Bunny brads to add dimension and interest to the centre of each flower. Did you see the doily? and if you look closely she has even included a punched border!

Bo Bunny supplies:

Patterened Paper: Ambrosia Trellis, Ambrosia Stripe, Ambrosia Primrose,

Wet 'n Wild
By Gabrielle Pollaco

Since this was a flourish and bloom challenge Gabi thought she would make all her blooms from Bo Bunny patterned papers & cardstock...the die cuts she used were Spellbinders Rose Creations. The flourishes and leaves were also cut from Bo Bunny cardstock.

These flowers look almost real!

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Country Garden; Letters, Vines, Almanac, Cut Outs.
Cardstock: Passion Fruit Flourish, Clover Dot
6x6 Paper Pad: Country Garden
12x12 Chipboard: Country Garden
Noteworthy: Country Garden
Jewels: Country Garden
Combo Stickers: Country Garden

SunShine

By Robbie Herring

Robbie also made her own flowers. They are so striking and by placing them on her layout in the way she has, she has ensured that the photo is the main focus. Notice how she repeated the colours. A friend of mine often says " if you use it once, use it twice"- this helps to create balance.

She has also used brads and jewels which all add to the detail of this page and if you look closely some of the swirls are hand sewn.

With all the winter blues why not create your own spring and create a layout using flourishes and flowers! Be sure it share it with us on the Bo Bunny Facebook page!
