I'm takin a walk on the wild side today with these projects created with the Jungle Life Collection.
I mean who can resist the king of the jungle on a greeting card??? Not me that's for sure.
This collection has so many great patterns to layer. For this card I chose prints with different scales and different colors using black cardstock to keep it from looking busy. Adding spacers between the layers builds depth.
These flowers are created with the patterned papers and simple flowers dies and topped with metallic spiral stamens. Laser cut chipboard finished in a mossy green are tucked in and last but not least a small loopy bow for this arrangement.
The lion image is clipped from one of the cut apart postcards then snipped into a tag shape. There's a metal eyelet and twine looped through and sequins to add a bit of sparkly detail. An additional chippie is tucked between the paper layers and a die cut doily is the perfect finishing touch!
To add detail to the inside of the card I created an insert with some stamps and the Vicki Boutin Color Wheel ink.
Of course while I had the supplies out I decided to create a second project.
Oh yeah I did make a zebra tag!!!!
I used the same black cardstock to create borders and a doily to layer in. That arrow signage is from the Layered Chipboard Stickers. Just a bit of glitter really glams it up.
More handmade flowers here from the patterned papers, a tag with eyelet and twine, a few sequins, and clip are the perfect embellies to finish this tag!
Here is my process video:
I hope you enjoyed viewing these tags as I did making them :) Wishing everyone a happy and productive day ~Ginny
