Layout Challenge Friday

user posted image

It's layout challenge Friday at Bo Bunny!  This Friday, we asked the design team to make a layout that shared something that we might not know about them.  As always, they came through with some beautiful layouts!  It is always fun getting to know each other better!

Your challenge is to do the same thing!  Make a layout to share something about yourself that we might not know.  Fun right?

Here is what the design team had to say:

Tomoko Tamahashi
Treasure This Moment
I was thinking about this one, and decided to scrap my wedding photo (with only myself in it:o).
I have NEVER scrapped my wedding photo!! And this is probably going to be the first and the last to scrap it!!! It's because I'm divorced!!!  But, thought I would keep this photo because this is the best photo of me!!

I Want to See the World
Something you should know about me is that I truly want to see the world, but I am terrified of taking  a plane... I hope maybe, someday, I will overcome this fear and have the chance to see some of these amazing places...

Photo Swap Time

Being a scrapbooker, we use to drag our cameras with us everywhere we go. We take tons of pictures, ask our children, cousins, siblings or parents to pose for us as much as we can...But even then, you might sometimes think about what it would be like if you'd get to scrap someone else's picture. A couple of our very talented Bo Bunny DT girls and graphic designers decided to do a photo swap. We all got to scrap a favourite picture from one of the other girls and used it to make our own layouts with. It was so much fun to do. Let's take a peek at all the gorgeous creations the girls came up with.
Kathleen got to scrap with Agnieszka's pictures from her adorable little girl. I just love how she managed to make a bright and springy layout with these winter pictures. And did you also notice her wonderful flower stamping? I think it looks awesome!

And Tomoko scrapped my (Romy's) picture. I think she completely rocked the Ad Lib collection by using a lot of stamping, layering and misting on her layout. And take a look at that cute handmade flower, made out of the green Bo Bunny wrap too. Isn't it cute?

Supplies used: Gabrielle Cameo, Gabrielle Elegance, Gabrielle Promenade, Gabrielle Romance, Gabrielle Unwritten, Gabrielle Cut Outs, Gabrielle Jewels, Gabrielle Dimensional Stickers, Gabrielle Layered Chipboard Stickers, Gabrielle Brads, and Gabrielle Wraps.

Designer Notes: If you want to give your title an elegant feel, you can simply embroider it using thick thread, like I did on this page. I first wrote her name with a pencil, then punched holes and connected these using colored thread. It didn't took me any longer than a few minutes, but I really loved the effect this stitching/embroidering gave.

Designer notes: Would you believe that this is the first time that I stitched my title? I tried to do it using simple stitching just so not to overwhelm me. LOL!!! I also used my crochet thread in doing cross stitching, I thought adding a bit of this makes an interesting texture on my page. I also incorporated faux stitching on my layout.

Card Challenge Tuesday

Are you ready for another card challenge? We sure hope so!
This week's sketch was created by our very own Romy Veul! And here are our designer's take on the sketch!

Romy Veul
Supplies:
Crazy Love patterned paper: Crazy Love Kisses, Crazy Love Story, Crazy Love Cut Outs
Crazy Love 6x6" Paper Pad
Crazy Love Rub-On

Designer Tip: The small paper pads from Bo Bunny are perfect for card making, for the patterns are adapted to the small sizes of these papers. To make it even easier to create a card in no time at all, I took the sheet of cut outs too and hand cut a few flowers, birds and a ticket. Just add a little glimmer and gloss and your card is finished.
