Mixed Media with Tis the Season!

  Hello BoBunny Friends, it's Elena here with you today.

  Christmas preparations are the most busy season however it's the best chance to create something different, that you haven't done before.

 I have created a mixed media mini album.

I started with creating my own background on watercolor paper. I used clear and white gesso to prime it and then misted with the sprays.

It was fun to use only blue, green, light gold and silver tones

Throughout the album I added in my cut out embellishments

 

 I enjoyed the fussy cutting process and combined colored and gray images.

  However I wanted my album to look light and airy.

  I also added vellum cards, I like the transparency they produce.

 I added the glitter paste and also mixed in several colors.

 

I tried to create a wintry scene.

  Actually I used the stencils for my background that are not originally Christmas, however they remind you of the snowflakes.

 And the glitter paste helps to create the crisp and icy feeling.
