We LOVE our new wraps, trims & petals

Anyone who's seen BoBunny at a trade show,
knows about the BoBunny girls all wearing matching sweaters.

This year, with our new products... we decided to make our own sweaters!
Let us know what you think, these were a BLAST to make!

Or view it on our youtube page

We took a few pictures of the sweaters so you could get up close and personal with them!
Thanks for looking.

This is made with the Whoo-ligans wrap and Black Tulle Petal.

We used the Chiffon Rose Trim for this one.

This yummy one uses Holly Berry Wrap and Antique Lace Petal.

(sshhh... my fave) This one is the Charcoal Knit Petal.

And last but not least is the Newsprint Wrap!

We've left out the Purple Pom Pom Wrap and Green Scrunch Petal from our Winter Joy Collection to see what you could come up with....
We can't wait to see....

Crafting a Bib Necklace Bo Bunny Style!

Jewelry making is spreading into scrappy land and for many crafters and scrapbookers alike this is great way to use up our stash of goodies. Imagine taking some of your favorite handmade or pre-made flowers, brads, ribbon and bling and turning them into a stylish fashion accessory! One thing to keep in mind is that because you are the making it, you can perfectly coordinate your jewelry to go with your favorite outfits. Another thoughtful use for creating one of these beauties is that it would make the perfect gift for your best fashionista friends! So are you beginning to think that this sounds like something you might want to try? If so, keep on reading for a detailed how-to tutorial on creating your own bib necklace using some of your favorite scrappy supplies. Before we start with the instructions though, I want to share with you one of the necklaces I created with yours truly as the model! LOL!!!
I took my time creating the base for the necklace so that the length of the necklace could be adjusted depending on the style of top I was wearing. Please let me know if you are interested in having the pattern I created. I would be more than happy to share it with you!

..................................................................................................
Supplies:
Various Bo Bunny flowers, brads and bling
Ribbon
Hot glue gun
Felt

Instructions:

Cut a piece of felt into a bib type shape.
Gather some flowers and brads
and put your flowers together.
Continue building your flowers, varying the colors and sizes of the flowers to add variety.Cut 2 pieces of ribbon approximately 15 inches in length.
Hot glue the ends of each piece of ribbon onto each end of the felt piece.
Gather some bling
and hot glue your bling on the tip of the felt bib.
(This helps hide the end piece.)
Next start hot gluing your flowers in place.
Once all of the flowers are adhered you are ready to wear your creation!

So what do you think? Easy peesy right?! So get crafting and please share your creations with us! We can't wait to see them!

Happy Crafting!

CLEARLY...... GREAT NEW STUFF!!!

It's Monday again....that means a little fun with The Mad Scrapper!
How in the world do I follow such an amazing scrapping high with last week's CHA previews??? There's really nothing more fun than laying your eyes on some new scrapbooking goodies for the very first time... is there?

Well.... unless of course you're PLAYING with some of those new goodies!

As if the new Noteworthy Journaling books that come with each of the new lines aren't fun enough.... each one also includes a super cute transparency for the cover! I LOVE these and want to show you a few ways to incorporate them into your projects.

This Royal goodness is Cambridge. I placed the transparency right over the top of the photo (that's my Dad!) in this layout. I turned it sideways actually and then weaved some hemp through the holes to attach it to a journaling sheet from the same Cambridge Noteworthy book. I used Tombow adhesive behind the wings then also added some staples in the top left corner to secure it. This technique adds a lot to the photo and gives a similar effect as a large rub-on. FUN!!!

Next is my FAVORITE way to use these transparencies!! They are a PERFECT size to use on cards! I cut the upper right side of this one out to create a clear pocket to add some Halloween candy. Then I secured it with a zig-zag stitch using my sewing machine... added the ribbon and stickers... DONE and FUN!!! By the way.... it's my personal opinion that WHOO-LIGANS is seriously THE CUTEST Halloween line of ALL TIME!!! Hee! Hee!

Last I used the beautiful Petal Pushers line from the Spring release to embellish this small square frame. I trimmed around the flowers on the transparency how I wanted then used some glue dots to secure it to the frame. This is an easy way to add some fun details to any project. I also created a little dimension by adding the bow, brads and cut-out butterfly and flowers.

These transparencies are CLEARLY a fun new addition to the ever-growing collections by Bo Bunny! What do you think? Do you have some fun ways to use trasparencies too? Leave a comment... let us know! We'd love to hear!

Have a great week!
