Hi everyone! This is Juliana! Many of you Bo Bunny fans know I have been around here for a bit now, but I must say...Bo Bunny keeps rolling with the times and so do I! I tend to be a rather private person, but I thought I would use this opportunity to share a bit more about me that you might not know.
This is Danny! We will have been married 6 years this September and we are looking forward to celebrating our special day. We met in church. He gave me his business card. I emailed him. We went on our first date. And the rest is history!
We don't have any children, but we have a big ol' paint horse named Woody. He is my husband pride and joy. He is also his stress release...kind of like scrapping is for me.
I have two totally adorable nieces and they tend to be the focus of many of my scrapbook layouts as you will notice!
We recently moved to a small river town in Illinois because my husband got a new job. I was fortunate enough to find a new job as well working as a physical therapist with the local hospital. I work full time and dream of one day going part time to have more time to scrap, workout, travel and cook.
Some random tidbits about me...I love Dr. Pepper, Mexican Food and Pasta! I enjoy working out and lately have gotten back into a modified usage of P90X! I love to read science fiction and just recently finished reading number 8 of the Dresden Files. I can't wait to read the next one! I love to travel, but don't get to very often. My favorite place is anywhere with a beach and the ocean. I would also really love to go to Italy with Danny to see Rome and Assisi. I have been there and he as been there, but we have never been there together and we both really loved it. So, maybe some day!
I have been scrapping for about 15 years now thanks to a wonderful friend of my who got me started all those years ago! We are still friends and love to get together as often as we can to scrapbook and visit.
I am not sure that I can define my style. I have always struggled with that. I know I tend to have more clean, straight lines, but any more than that and I start to have trouble! I love color! I love texture! And I love working with my hands! I love trying new techniques and products! The products are usually what inspire me to create whatever it is that I make whether it be a card, a scrapbook layout or an altered object/home decor item.
This layout is a rare two pager for me! These photos of my niece running through the sprinkler at Grandma's and Grandpa's was perfect for this collection. I cut out the bubbles from the patterned paper to create the border and then added glossy accents to make them shine and look like water! I created the title by cutting the letters from the patterned paper as well and then "popped" them up using double sided foam tape. (One of my "I can't scrap without it" supplies!)
Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Barefoot & Bliss, Bubbles, Stripe, Words/Barefoot & Bliss
Brads: Barefoot & Bliss
Jewels: Barefoot & Bliss
Stickers: Barefoot & Bliss Combo Stickers
This next layout is again of my niece...I tend to scrap them a bit! Here she is having a grand old time "flying" as she stand up through the sun roof on our car as we wait at Sonic for our food to be delivered. The imagination of a child amazes me and the fact that she thought she was flying made me think about her soaring like an eagle and of course the Liberty collection was perfect for this! I added the yellow to the red, white and blue color scheme to give it a bit of pop. I sometimes also tend to do little things that no one really notices either...like the circle stars in the background. I cut them out from another piece of paper and then adhered them inside the blue frame. The blue frame is actually a scrap from another layout I created recently called "American Pie". I love to save my scraps because you just never know when or if you might be able to use them.
Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Liberty, United, Dot/Liberty
Patterned Paper: Liberty, United, Dot/Liberty
Paper Pad: Liberty
Brads: Liberty
Brads: Liberty
Stickers: Liberty Family Times Stickers
Chipboard: Liberty 12" Chipboard
The last new project I have to share with you is a simple card I created using the Barefoot & Bliss collection. The sticker, which is part of the Combo Sticker, was the perfect sentiment. I finished it off by adding a couple glitter brads for a bit of bling!

Patterned Paper: Barefoot& Bliss, Words, Stripe, and Laid Back/Barefoot & Bliss
Brads: Barefoot & Bliss

I also want to invite you to come by my blog for another new project I created...a mini album! Awhile back, I asked my blog followers to give me some suggestions and to maybe even challenge me to do something different and so I went with a mini album. I haven't done one in about a year I realized, so it was definitely about time for me to create one!
One last thing...if you leave a comment here and then stop by my blog and leave a comment there by the end of today (11:59PM CST) you will have the chance to win an awesome prize package from Bo Bunny and you might even get a little something from me too! (Wink! Wink!) But you have to leave a comment in both places to qualify!!! I will then pick one winner at random to win!!!
It looks like everyone is going to share some of there
favorite Bo Bunny projects, so I went through my hard drive and found
some of my favorites from over the past years to share with you. I want
to thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the review
below!
Thanks again for stopping by!
Happy Hugs!
Juliana
