The only thing I love more than the smell of school supplies,
is buying school supplies!
Today we have some Back to School fun to share and
inspire you all. Now that the kiddos are back to the books...
We get a lil more time to scrap. ha ha ha

Teacher Gift Box & Card
Juliana Michaels
"The gift box was originally meant to be a wine box. I covered it with patterned paper and added a ruffle edge to the lid to give it a back to school/teacher feel. I then filled it with goodies for my sister, who is a teacher, with things such as Post It notes and her favorite pens for grading papers."
I LOVE that Juliana cute the apples out of the Apple Cider collection and adhered them.

I'm just loving all the projects! Just makes me smile. I'm excited about kids going back to school because my son will actually be around more, lol. I know I'm different, but he's in University and he has been gone all summer working, so I'm going to happy to have him around more.
ReplyDeleteVery cute. Great ideas for teacher gifts.
ReplyDeleteBest compliment I got this year so far?
ReplyDeleteOne boy's brother told him he was a lucky dude, because he was going to get me as his teacher.
I was a bit speechless.
Best thing about going back to school? New kids to teach, broaden their minds, enlarge their knowledge, teach them to see their own strengths, know their weaknesses and how to overcome fears.
Getting drawings, smiles, seeing faith awaken in their eyes, that is a reward in itself.
I teach 7th graders, 10-11 year olds from challenged backgrounds. It's worth it.
Brookie started Kindergarten this year... so I am LOVING her enthusiasm everyday with the things she learned!!!!!!
