Cards featuring DoubleDot Stripe and Flourish with Rhonda
Today I am sharing with you a few card creations featuring the Double Dot card stock in Stripe and Flourish designs. This first card I wanted a monochromatic feel, but with a holiday sentiment and flair. There are bits of Glitter Paste accents along with Glimmer Spray and Gold Foil Chevron Washi tape.
Several drops of Bronze, Sugar, Gold and Mint Glimmer Spray was placed on my craft mat, then I pressed my trimmed paper onto the spray and achieved a marbled effect. This was an experiment to mix up the elegance of the flourish paper with a bit of mixed media.
The sentiment was cut from the B side of the Stripe DoubleDot design using a cut file and my Silhouette Cameo. I then brushed a light layer of Sugar Pearlescents to give a bit of shimmer. You can see in the corners the Sugar Glitter Paste using the corners from the Borders Stickable Stencils peeking out.

Valentine Card
To create this card, I used the DoubleDot Licorice Flourish for the base, then added a layer of DoubleDot Pink Punch Stripe. To soften the pink a bit, a small doily is added which I cut into pieces and offset, then topped off with a layer of vellum on top.
Here you can see my next layer is a tag from the Noteworthy out of the You're Invited collection. It had a nice contrast for colors, but yet some pink accents that coordinated. Then I used the Lattice Frame Dies and accented the tag, finishing it with a layered chipboard element from the Provence collection.
The XOXO tag is cut from the Surprise paper, and a floral collage is added with some Blossoms and one of the Kraft Essentials Natural Petals which I coordinated using some Blush Pearlescents and a Tuxedo Double Dot Jewel to the center.
I love how the BoBunny collections coordinate so beautifully with each other as well as the Double Dot card stock. What are your favorite items to mix and match?
