Angela here again with you today with a new scrapbook layout made with the BoBunny collection Early Bird.
I love this new collection, it has gorgeous colors in pink and blue and beautiful patterns too. The paper I chose for my page is just an example, with its equilateral triangles in pink and yellow
The triangles are the leitmotif of my page. As soon as I saw this paper, I knew I wanted to make a geometric layout, using all those triangles; in fact, as you can see, I fussy cut also the photo in a triangular shape!
As I said, I wanted to focus on triangles and to emphasize it even more, I added a few simple stitched triangles, overlapping the thread to the paper triangles
The clean look of the page is actually full of tiny details, like for example the machine stitching and the stitched stamps.
Triangles are repeated at the top and the bottom of the page, surrounded by bronze splatters and pink dots.
To avoid any distraction, I used very little embellishments apart from triangles, the title Passion, that I had in my stash and a few die-cuts like the cute yellow butterfly and the half hidden flower, a paper clip and a gold heart.
The journaling is typed with my Dymo machine and attached on the white triangle beside the photo.
Splatters and dots added here and there, helped to fill in the white space and voilà , the page is done.
I really hope you like this layout of mine and to have inspired you somehow with all these triangles!
Here is my process video!
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Love,
Angela
