Shoe Card Holders with Denise

Hello Everyone

It's Denise here today with something a little different. Wouldn't you love to receive a gift, along with a little message in a glamour shoe?

I have a template for the shoes that I got off the internet and cut all the bits from Land of Wonder and then put them together. I added some more BoBunny goodies and even did some hand stitching for a very authentic look.

On the red shoe I added the stitching to the inner sole of the shoe.  For the toe of the shoe I used stickers and black pearls, along with some noteworthy pieces and a laser cut chipboard swirl, which I coloured with black gesso. The little note is a piece of patterned paper, which was rolled and tied with a ribbon and then a brad added to the bow. This is where I will write my message for the gift.

I also used the black gesso to colour the heel of the shoe, which is a cut-out from an egg carton.

On the purple and turquoise shoe toe, I also used a laser cut chipboard piece and coloured it with distress oxide ink. I added pearlescent and then the butterfly and jewels. The note is also rolled and a piece of ribbon tied around it, with a purple gem brad.

I used paint to colour the heel of the shoe, which is, again, a cut-out from an egg carton.

I really had so much fun making these and they are certainly two of my favourite projects this year.
Land of Wonder is definitely magical and it brought out the creative magic in me!!
