Going Green!

Are things getting a little GREEN yet where you live? They are here finally and we're loving it! It's inspired me to pull some green from my Bo Bunny stash and get creating. With the St. Patty's Day holiday coming up this week.... I had a perfect excuse to play! There are so many fabulous green papers in the latest releases. Be sure and consider the back sides of your papers when you're feeling inspired or you just might miss out on exactly what you're looking for!

Lucky for me.... I found what I needed and whipped up a few festive creations in honor of the Irish Day. A fun welcome sign for your front door, a card, and a cute little shamrock pin. You and your kiddos could make some of these together. You don't want to send your loved ones off to school or work that day without wearing some green or they might get pinched. HA!! Oh! And I found some shamrock clip art online to use as my pattern. Then I just resized it how I needed to for each project.

Leave a comment and tell me if your family celebrates St. Patty's Day.... tell me which project is your favorite
and I will draw a winner to receive all three! Have a great week!

  1. I like I'm so lucky and we don't have a tradition for St Patty's day other then to wear green. It is my favorite color so it's not hard to find in my closet.

  9. The I'm so Lucky card is so cute, I love the way the letters are arranged in different directions. My family doesn't really celebrate St. Patrick's Day, but I did take a picture of my 90 year old Chinese grandmother wearing a St. Patrick's Day beer/flower hat this year.

My step children live in another state so this year I made a gift box starting with a box of lucky charms, Irish Spring soap, green candy and gum, rainbow glow braclets and green nail polish and so on and so on, you get the idea, all wrapped in green and gold paper with a scattering of "gold" and candy coins.... hope they enjoy it. So had to send a version to my grown children too !!

  39. My fav is the door sign!
We (me and hubby) were out of town on St Patty's Day. We didn't celebrate, but I made 5 cards and sent them to my mom and 4 friends in other states. Does that count as celebrating? Oh I forgot I also made white chocolate covered pretzels with green nonparials for the people who work with my hubby. If you have a big lots where you live, try their "Anderson braided twists honey wheat pretzels". They are about 70cents. Everytime I have used them with the white chocolate people fight over them.
