Card Challenge on Monday!

Today we are sharing another challenge with you, but this one is with cards! Our challenge for you is to use a handmade paper embellishment on your card. For example: flowers, pinwheels, flags, banner, etc. Each of the Bo Bunny designers that played along today created something different as their embellishment. Let's see what they have to share... First up we have a butterfly created by Juliana using a die cut machine, glitter and jewels.

Thinking of You
by Juliana Michaels
Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Promenade, Dot/Gabrielle
6" Paper Pad:Gabrielle
Stickers: True Friend Cardstock Stickers/Gabrielle
Jewels: Gabrielle
Wrap: Gabrielle

Designer Tip: I created my paper embellishment using a die cut machine to cut the butterfly shape. I cut two of them and then layered them with double sided foam tape to give them more dimension. I then added a light coating of glitter and the jewels to give it a some sparkle.

Next up Tomoko created a fabulous star embellishment that she folded to give it a three dimensional look.

Stars and Stripes Forever
by Tomoko Takahashi
Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Liberty Collection Stripe, Cut Out
Stickers: Freedom & Fireworks CS Sticker
Chipboard: Liberty Layered Chipboard
Noteworthy: Liberty
Rub-on: Liberty
 Jewels: Zoology

Designer Tip: I used a star out of the cut out paper for my handmade embellishment. I fold it to make it look 3D.

Our final card today was created by Tara and she made some gorgeous handmade flowers to decorate her card.

Just for You
by Tara Orr

Bo Bunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Elephant, Zoology, Stripe, Safari Die Cut/ Zoology, Gabrielle Cut Outs
Chipboard: Zoology
Stickers: Zoology Combo Stickers
Jewels: Zoology
Cardstock: Double Dot in Chiffon

Designer Tip: I hand made the flowers using the Safari Die cut. I drew and cut out a 5 petal flower, spritzed with mist and then gently twisted the ends. Once dry, layer 2 of the flowers on top of one another, punch a hole in the middle and finish with some flower stems (I got mine from the baking section of Michaels and just painted the tips a nice gold color).

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  We hope you enjoyed today's creative inspirations!

We will post the winner from the last card challenge later today and add the link to today's post for you to play along with this challenge!
