Silver and Gold Collection Gifts

Only 13 days till Christmas! Do you need a few last minute gift ideas?? We are here to help!

Magical Trinket Gift Boxes by Lisa Nazario-Gregory

Since it is the season of gift giving. I needed a few small trinket boxes for some special gifts. I didn't want to stick a beautiful piece  of jewelry in a plain old white jewelry box, so I decided to make my own trinket boxes kicked up with BoBunny Silver and Gold paper for an elegant look. No wrapping needed.

Once my boxes were die cut from thick card stock, I assembled them according to instructions. I painted the edges with gold paint and covered the exposed box with paper from the Silver and Gold collection.

I cut strips of paper, then ran them through an edge punch to create the look of lace. I then wrapped the lace strip around my box.

Instead of the traditional bow, I created some little roses and festive leaves to top the trinket box.The flower was die cut and before it was assembled, I used a pearl pen in gold to edge the petals. they look like those old porcelain roses rimmed in gold.

Here is a view of the boxes closed. Just slide out the inner box to open.

Merry Christmas Canvas by Tracee Provis

My eldest daughter loves to decorate for Christmas so I decided to surprise her with this light up canvas using the fabulous Silver and Gold collection. The collection contains deep reds and greens but it also has a lighter delicate side of rich golds and creams. When I saw the reindeer on the 12 by 12 chipboard sheet, I was totally inspired to create a scene and for him to take center stage.

I created the background by tearing strips of paper from the collection and layering them up around the canvas, I covered them with a thin layer of gesso to soften the look further. I added some Frosting Jewels to the reindeer to give him extra texture.

I took one of  the large doilies and cut the middle out to make an arch shape over the top of the reindeer. The 12 by 12 chipboard sheet also has these cute ornaments that I dangled from the driftwood tree. I used a little talc to take the stickiness away as I wanted them to be able to move freely.
