Elf Magic Christmas Ornaments and Layout

Happy Saturday BoBunny fans! Are you busy with your last minute Christmas and Holiday activities? Today we are sharing some more Christmas inspiration from our Design Team. We have an assortment of amazing Christmas Ornaments and a scrapbook layout all made with the Elf Magic collection.

Santa's Village Christmas Ornaments by Tracee Provis

What better way to decorate for Christmas than something you have created yourself. I love to create scenes and was really excited to see the cute elements that adorn the Elf Magic collection. I recycled some old tuna fish cans that made great bases for my ornaments, and finished them off with some paper bows and ribbon.

To start I sprayed my tin with some white auto paint, glittered one of the small doilies and cut out the middle to make a pretty edge for my tins. I fussy cut lots of different elements from the papers and used hot glue to adhere in the tin. A little tip - I needed to put some hot glue that would show at the front of my elements, to stop it from being a plain old blob I just sprinkled a little glitter on it before it dried and it looks like sparkly snow.

I cut some circles to fit the tin and then adhered most of the elements to it before gluing inside. I used some double dot cardstock to create the Elf factory building, how cute is the little one peeking out from behind the roof ? I cut some tiny bows to stick on the presents and then cut a bigger version that is attached to the top of the tin with the ribbon.

The set wouldn't be complete without the stockings being hung, again I used double dot to create the bed frame and the window behind has acetate to give the impression of looking out at Santa's sleigh flying through the sky.

Naughty or Nice Christmas Ornament by Agnieszka Bellaidea

The idea about making decorations for Christmas tree is something we all remember from kindergarten. This time I wanted to show you how fun can it be to do it in a very simple way. Cute elements from Elf Magic are great for using on old frames, wooden stars or even old decorations, just to give them a lift. For my first project I used a plastic frame and this cute Elf. The second one was created with paper and cut out elements from Elf Magic.

Fa La La La La Christmas Ornament by Agnieszka Bellaidea

If you would like to see how I created this simple ornament and maybe let your children to have fun with your papers when you relax with a new book by the Christmas tree here I have couple photos from the process.

Cut out 6 -10 shapes from any Bo Bunny paper.

Fold all parts in half.

Glue all parts together, I used a tape for it.

Your ornament is ready for decorations. Using stickers, chipboards or cut images from Elf Magic papers like I did makes the process nice and easy. Go for it! Or relax and read your book, I am on my way to created new page with another stunning Winter collection from Bo Bunny.

I have made a couple of layouts with this gorgeous collection with a Christmas theme, but I thought it would be fun to show that you can actually use these versatile papers photos other than just Christmas photos. Here I used a picture of that really fantastic bridge in San Francisco!

I have used some cute flowers and I put brads in the centre. I outlined the stars and the alphabet stickers to make them pop.

Gift Box Tower and Card by Rhonda Van Ginkel

I loved the idea of this trio of stacked little gift boxes!  I found them as digital cutting file. The nice thing is that you can save them and use them again and again!  (That is, unless the recipient decides that they would like to use them again and again - which is awesome too!)

I tied my gift tag onto the paper bow at the top.

Who can resist the "Naughty or Nice" Elf in our Dimensional Stickers package?  I just giggle every time I see him!  I decided he might want to be a little on the naughty side with a bit of candy and a red little jeweled nose.

Document December with BoBunny Elf Magic Misc Me

Today, Juliana shares with us how she is using the Elf Magic Misc Me to document her December Christmas activities. Let's take a look at some of the pages inside her album.

Document December 2013 Misc Me Pages by Juliana Michaels

Last month, I shared with you how I had put together an Elf Magic Misc Me album to use as a way to document my favorite December activities and traditions. Today, I am sharing some of the pages I have completed for my album using a combination of the Elf Magic Misc Me Contents and pieces of Elf Magic Patterned Paper, Stickers and Noteworthy. If you are interested in more close up images and details on how I created some of the elements I used on my pages, drop by my blog 17turtles.

These first four pages focus on my Santa collection and how I have it displayed in our home this year.

These next few pages are about our Christmas tree and our tradition of collecting at least one new ornament every year. This year we got two, a glass vintage style Santa and a German style Nativity scene.

So, how are you using your Misc Me? Are you documenting your December? We'd love to see what you've created!
