Somewhere in Time Cards

It's amazing how many different looks you can get with a single collection! These designers have added their own personal flair in creating these Somewhere In Time cards.

Any Occasion Cards by Lisa Gregory

I absolutely love how the blues in the Somewhere in Time papers play off the warm colors. I enhanced the warmth further with a little distress ink. I handmade the flowers using various dies and a punch and layered them.

This piece from the combo sticker was perfect for the middle of the card. Instead of using a sentiment, I used a butterfly I punched out. I wanted to keep the cards sentiment free so that I could use them for any occasion.

The second card I created uses punching and layering.  To give the card dimension, I add pop dots in between each layer.

I cut apart some of the pearl flourishes to create the bodies on my butterflies. The beautiful part is, I can still use the other parts of the flourishes for another project.

I absolutely love Double Dots paper. I had small  scraps that I punched out the tiny layered flowers from. Then I cut out some of the larger pearls from the flourish and used them for the middle of each flower.

Congratulations card by Rhonda Van Ginkel

I always enjoy creating cards and was especially thrilled to work with this new collection "Somewhere In Time". My first card is a step card and I used some Combo Stickers, Kraft Wood Clocks and some additional shapes that I added using my die cutting machine.

To create some interest, I've layered one of our 4" Doilies which was misted in a variety of colors to blend with the collection. Next I added a few die cuts and one of our Stickers topped with a Kraft Wood Clock which was misted and the outer border colored with my Copic marker.

A bit of cheesecloth and seam binding ribbon and touches of Jewels finished the card.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Evening Mist, Imagination, Passage, Beauty, Antiquity / Somewhere In Time
Stickers: Somewhere In Time Combo Sticker
Brads: Enchanted Garden
Doilies: 4" Small
Kraft: Wood Clocks
Jewels: Baby Bump

I decided to go a little bit feminine with this card, playing on the dress form design a bit and adding a few frilly die cut elements. Quite a number of these pieces are cut from the Keepsake paper including the banners, tag top, layered frame and dress form.

I love that you can create so many cute elements with a few of our papers from this amazing collection! The dress forms, balloons and gear elements are wonderful as is the color scheme.

Thank You Tag by Gabrielle Pollacco

One of my favourite color combinations is this craft color with the soft teal/aqua that is predominent in the Somewhere In Time collection.  For this Thank-you tag/card I chose one of the simpler background papers and did a bunch of stamping on it with some of my stash of BoBunny stamps.

I used natural accents for the tag using hemp twine, some chipboard cogs and then just went crazy with the stamps.  The dragonfly stamp is such a fun stamp especially for tags.  (this stamp is from the Serenade collection, the measuring tape and frame design is from the Weekend Market collection and the script is from a large Bo Bunny stamp set called 'It is Written".  I finished off the look with a couple of pearl 'jewels' from the Somewhere in Time collection.

Another stamp that I find comes in handy all the time is the large stamp collection called 'You're Invited"....I chose the simpler font design for this tag.

The 6x6 paper pad is one of the best creations for cardmakers.  The reduced size images and smaller papers work perfectly for card creating. I chose the antique corset design papers to make up this card.

I also utilized some of the matching cardstock stickers to make up my card title.  The BoBunny pearl flourishes always add a nice elegant finishing touch to a card or layout.
