Souvenir 12 x 12 Misc Me

Let's take a trip to a far off place, where should we go?? Oh! Look at that, Lynn has captured her family trip to the Dominican Repbulic in a 12 x 12 Misc Me! She uses mixed media and the Souvenir Journal Contents, to capture the fun and excitement they had!

Good Morning and Happy Sunday!!! When I saw the new Souvenir collection I couldn't wait to dig right in to the new goodies! I knew that the Journal Contents for the Souvenir Misc.Me would be just the thing for my photos of a family trip we took to the Dominican Repbulic.

 

To begin I laid out all the journal contents cards and then couldn't resist playing with the new BoBunny sprays! For some of the cards I sprayed the Frost, Gold and Bronze right onto the cards. For others I took the frost spray and sprayed a little on my craft mat, then sprayed that with water. I knew I was taking a risk here and wasn't sure what would happen! Then I dipped the cards into the spray on my mat and let it dry. It really gave the cards each a different marbled pattern. I couldn't just stop there, I then flicked some spray onto some of the cards for a little added touch. I tucked some of the Noteworthy pieces behind my photos as extra touches on the cards. 

 

 

Then it was time to get out the stamps and the new Ink Pads.  I used the Stained Textures stamp around the edges using the new Blueberry Ink Pad. The camera and filmstrip from the MamaRazzi2 Clear Stamps here and there with the new Licorice Ink Pad, then finished off with the new Captured Stamp to stamp words on the cards. I chose the "World Traveler" piece from the Layered Chipboard for one of the cards and some of the stickers from the Combo Sticker sheet for others.

I wanted to do some journaling for my pages so I decided to take one of the Jouranl Contents cards, print my journaling on it and tuck it behind one of the pockets. To make it easy to pull out of the pocket, I took one of the buttons, and filled the button holes with the new Isand Mist Pearlescent Pens.
