I am so in love with the You're Invited collection, if you add some mixed media along with the papers it gives a super result. I love how the pinks in the collection compliment the colours this photo of my Daughter and Granddaughter perfectly.

I applied a thin layer of gesso to the parts of my page that I planned to use my mediums on, this stops the inks soaking into the paper and gives a truer colour. I used a tiny star stamp from the Stitches stamp dotted around the Gold Glitter Paste Stars, for these sparkly stars I used my most favourite Bo Bunny Stencil which is Cascade. I used one of the Misc Me cards for my title "Hip Hip Hooray" this is another great way to use these planner cards in your projects.

I used some embellishments from the Combo Sticker Sheet and the Noteworthy in the You're Invited collection. I layered the banner piece from the Chipboard sheet along the bottom of my photo and elements, I gave it a little bling with some Double Dot Jewels to finish it off. I really love how this collection with its eclectic mix of colours all work so fabulously together.
