Hello Friends! There are many ways you can use BoBunny Pearlescents, with a wide range of colours too, you can co ordinate them with many of your projects.

I am here to share with you how I created this simple but effective background on this card.

Lets start by gathering up our supplies, I used papers from the Garden Journal Collection along with the Butterflies stickable stencil and the new Flutter Stamp set. Other supplies needed are a palette knife (or similar for spreading the Pearlescents) paintbrushes and a Journaling pen.

Cut a piece Gratitude paper slightly smaller than the size of your card blank. Lay the stencil down the centre of your patterned paper, don't worry if some is overlapping the top and bottom.

Squeeze some of the graphite Pearlescents onto your palette knife and drag across the stencil to give a border of approximately an inch, allow to dry for about 20 - 30 seconds and lift off your stencil. Wash off your stencil and when you are done your background should be dry.

Make sure your stencil is dry and then lay back down on your patterned paper as close a match as you can (it doesn't have to be exact), draw around the stencil with your journaling pen and take the stencil off and place back on its protective sheet.

Use a brush to paint Coral Pearlescents over the butterfly part of your card, after this is dry then paint some Sugar Glitter paste over the top of that for some sparkle.

Stamp onto card stock one of the butterflies from the Flutter Stamp Set paint with Coral and Island Mist Pearlescents then cut out. Adhere to the front of your card.

Mount the patterned paper onto a dark cardstock, I used Charcoal Chevron Double Dot, add a sentiment if you wish, then mount the whole thing onto your card blank and your card is complete.

Mixed Media LP...A Must See!

Be You by Agnieszka Bellaidea

Be You OTP project by Agnieszka Bellaidea for Bo Bunny featuring Garden Journal collection

Today's project with Mixed Media, uses Pearlescents and Garden Journal collection.
I had several ideas what to create and finally I settled on altering an old LP. I collect them and still use them but this one was damaged  and I had two of them so let's see what I did with "Sound of Music". If you would like to see all process visit me HERE , I had many step by step photos. I liked this idea a lot and I am thinking about new class where we will alter old LP's.

I used several elements from Garden Journal collection and mixed them up with stamped roses and wooden roses.
Roses stamped with black ink were painted later with glitter paste in green and pink colors.

I aslo used Washi tape and pearls . New stencils with a nice clock are my favorites now.

Marvelous Mini Album!

"Our Creek" Mini Album by Ilene Tell
Our Creek Mini Album by Ilene Tell using BoBunny Garden Journal Collection

I always love working with BoBunny's mini albums - they are nice and big, and the pages are pre-printed with designs from the collection - so the main time-consuming tedious task of covering chipboard with paper is already done for you. And the paper is matte, not glossy, which is really nice too. Since the "Garden Journal" collection is very nature-themed, I thought it would work great for an album about our trips to the creek near us. Hence, the name of the album. The photos are from all different trips over the years.

To decorate the cover, I used some BoBunny flowers and laser-cut wooden embellishemt. I added the new gold rub-on letter - what an awesome effect! And the leaves I created by using the new stamp on green printed paper from the collection, and then cutting them out.

As you will see throughout the album, I also added dots using Chocolate Pearlescents around all the edges. Although it's a subtle look, I think it pulls the whole album together, giving the pages a more defined and uniform feel. It wouldn't be the same without it - and to cover each page only takes a couple minutes, so it's well worth the effort.

To embellish the mini, I used lots of daisy flowers of all colors, layered chipboard, and tons of Noteworthy die cuts to decorate as well as to write the dates. I love quotes, so I also added quotes I printed out about nature, trees, family, etc, all throughout.

Well... here goes the rest of the album!

Misc Me & Garden Journal!

Memories Captured Binder by Irene Tan

Hello BoBunny fans! Have you seen the new Misc Me 8 x 9 Binders by BoBunny? Today, I would like to share with you one which I've altered to suit the theme of my Misc Me pages.

I've used the "Garden Journal" collection to decorate the cover of this binder and the Misc Me pages for today's post. Of course besides the pattern papers, I also get to showcase the use of Pearlescents here. For the cover, I've simply added strands of Pearlescent dots to it.

Here are some of the Misc Me pages in this 8 x 9 binder. Besides using the page protectors, I've also used a new white and kraft envelope as one of the page in this binder.

I love to use Pearlescents to add details to embellishment. On the picture above, I've used Pearlescents to decorate this cut-out. I know some of us have difficulties in creating the perfect sized Pearlescent dots. To make it easier, you should try out your first few dots on a scrap rather than directly on your project. This will help you get rid of any clogs or air pockets in the Pearlescent tube that might prevent you from creating your perfect dot.

On the picture above, I've used the brocade stickable stencil and blush Pearlescent to create that dimensional design on the kraft envelope.

Tea Party Invites!

Tea Party Garden Journal Inspired invitations by Evgenia Petzer
Tea party invitations by Evgenia Petzer using Garden Journal by Bo Bunny

This time I have prepared tea party invitations. The main focus is on the vintage inspired Garden Journal papers and wonderful Pearlescents. I wanted them to look like postcards, so the Post Card sheet from this collection was just perfect for my idea.

Little tip: If you love the vintage look of your papers (especially the corners), then this tip might be helpful. I normally take the water brush, add some water on it and "draw" on the corners and other parts of paper, where it is needed, the paper then becomes a bit damp and you can easily curl it for that look.

Close ups:

To make the invitations look even more appealing I have added some spices and real tea bags. I have used the Pearlescents of matching colors on each of them, I love the dimension and the nice sparkle that they give.

I also have added some dried mini roses that I collect in the summer time
