Family Stories Layout with Family Heirlooms Emmy

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today sharing a brand new layout I've created using the amazing Family Heirlooms collection from BoBunny. For this layout I decided to use a picture of my grandfather. He was always there for me when I was growing up and I miss him every day.

For my background I used two pattern papers. I cut off 1 cm from each side of the bluish paper. Then using a stickable stencil and texture paste I created the white dimensional pattern. Once the paste has dried, I sprinkled glimmering mist on top. Then, using a clear stamp and brown ink, I stamped the 'fake' stitches in the corners. Finally, I ruffles the edges using a paper distresser and adhered the altered pattern paper on top of the dark brown one.

To create my design I used washi tape and tailor-made embellishments from the pattern papers.

I cut my title from one of the Trinkets pattern paper. I inked its edges with brown ink and then I adhered it to the background using mounting foam tape.

I also added chipboard stickers and layered chipboard stickers to my page.

As a final touch I added rhinestones and enamel dots.

I hope I managed to inspire you today!

Have a great week!

Halloween Inspired Layout with Emmy

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today sharing my Halloween project here on BoBunny's blog. With a few days left until Halloween and a new party coming, I decided that it is time to finally use my pictures from last year's party. And what better collection to work with than BoBunny's "Banner Year" - it has an image for every holiday you can celebrate and so much more.

For my background I used Double Dot Lace cardstock and different mixed media pastes - a metallic one, a glitterly one and a structure one. To create the white dimensional layer, I used a Stickable stencil too.

For the layers under my picture I used different fussy cut panels from the 12" pattern paper sheets. The perfect thing about this collection is that you can mix-and-match as much as you like!

For my title I used a the October page title, which I shaped as a banner and the number "31" from the Thickers alphabet.

As a final touch I added rhinestones and sparkling layered chipboard stickers.

I hope I managed to inspire you today!

Have a wonderful spooky Halloween week!

Family Fun Layout with Emmy

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today with my second post for April featuring the amazing Harmony collection from BoBunny's newest release.

For my background I used two different pattern papers -  a pink one and a blue stripy one from Harmony. I cut off 0.5 cm from each side of the pink pattern paper, distressed its edges and adhered it on top of the blue one. Then, using a clear stamp and brown ink, I created the hand written pattern. Once the ink has dried, I added a white dimensional layer using one of BoBunny's stickable stencils and gesso.

To decorate my picture I fussy cut flowers and birds from different pattern papers. I also added some of the lovely pre-cut embellishments from the Noteworthy pack. I also added delicate flowery corners I've created using BoBunny's die and white cardstock.

For my title I used a chipboard word, which I coloured with white Gesso. I added a pink banner from the Noteworthy pack with the word "love" (from a Foil accents pack) next to it.

As a finishing touch I added different colored rhinestones and pearls, rhinestone swirls and a few of the amazing brads matching the collection.

I hope you enjoyed today's post!

Harmony: Layout by Emmy

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today with my first post for March featuring the amazing Harmony collection from BoBunny's newest release.

For my background I used a blueish pattern paper from the Harmony collection. I added the dimensional white layer using a Stickable Stencil and Texture paste.

Then I layered my picture on a slightly bigger panel from Double Dot cardstock and, using mounting foam tape, adhered it on top of a bluish pattern paper from the 6" Paper pad matching the collection. I adhered all the different layers in the middle of my background paper and added a die cut fancy edge at the top and at the bottom of my picture.

I fussy cut the birds and the flowers from different 12" pattern papers and combined them with the pre cut images from the Noteworthy pack and the Stickers sheet. Using them I assembled the flower edges on both sides of my picture.

For my title I used letters from the Tickers Alphabet matching the Harmony collection. I decorated it with fussy cut paper dragonflies.

As a final touch I added rhinestones, pearls, shimmering brads and sparkling flourishes.
