A Festive Fine Arts Friday!
Hello everyone. It's Elena here with you today.
I have already mentioned that I started working on my Christmas projects. You know, it's better to start earlier, then you will be ready for it in time.
I am still enjoying working with Tis the Season collection and it's such a fun to explore new colors of it each time.
For my project - I made Frosty Cristmas Tags - I decided to play with some art mediums and to explore how can the paints and beautiful papers can be incorporated into something special.
So I started with covering my tags base with the papers, and after - I applied gesso. When it dried I added Crackle Primer. I left it for the full dry and then....
I totally forgot that I planned to add White Crackle Paste.
I realized it later when I misted my tags with blue and and Sugar sprays and a very beautiful color has released as a result.
It was difficult to catch the different shades of the shimmer while making the shot.
However I liked how the primer holds the color and let it flow only if you lean the tag or smooth it with the brush.
I also made some fussy and die cut the frame that I cut into 2 parts and used them for both tags.
I embellished the die cut ornaments with the brads and added the jewels in blue and green.
And the last accent that made the tags look more festive and frosty - was adding the glitter paste in silver and green colors.
I like how everything glitters now and the brads serve as the main embellishment there.

Fine Arts Friday With Sweet Moments!
Hello everyone! It's Marilyn here with you today sharing a canvas that I created using the Sweet Moments collection, Glitter Pastes and the Mixed Media Products.

I started priming the canvas with the Crackle Primer then I painted it with pink acrylic paint. |

I selected the "Chocolat" chipboard and framed it with the large frame from the Ornate Frame Dies. |

The chocolate jar and flowers are from the "Sweet Moments Noteworthy". I cut out the white border in all the flowers. |

I made layers and textures using the Lace and Flower Power Stickable stencils with paint and glitter pastes . |

The Sugar Pearlescents give the final touch in the background, the dimension effect is fantastic! |
