A Mom's Day Mini

Since it was Mother's Day this week, we are going to
do a couple posts that highlight our moms.

Today, Sam Wright has made a darling mini album
out of the Noteworthy packaging.

BoBunny's packaging is so beautiful, you can't stand
to throw it away.  Check it out:

When it comes to love, MOM's the word
by Sam Wright
" I created this mini album using the Noteworthy packaging as my base and cover. I also used packaging within my album as embellishments/ journaling spots.
Take the Noteworthy packaging with the little flap on your right and score at 4"
Next cut a piece of patterned paper 5" x 9". This will be your front cover. Turn the Noteworthy card over so that the little flap is on your left. Glue the paper down. The paper does not cover the flap!!
 For the inside cover:
Cut one 5" x 6" piece of patterned paper
Cut one 5" x 8" piece of patterned paper.
Glue the smaller piece from left to right. The paper goes over the fold(to strengthen the spine)
Taking the second strip- score at 3" and glue the remaining 5" from the centre to the end of the book. This will not cover the small flap either.
The 3" piece that is not stuck down, becomes the first page of your mini!
Designer tip: To add strength and to ensure the album does not come apart I use double sided tape. However.... PLEASE BE WARNED.... accidents happen easily as there is no repositioning embellishments or paper once it has stuck!!

Hope you enjoyed this little mini and if you do have a go at making one, please share it with us on the Bo Bunny Facebook Page! We'd love to see!"

It's all about the presentation....

Isn't it so much more fun to open a gift when it has homemade
wrap or card or tag?  I'm all about the presentation of something.
It's almost more important to me than the gift. ha ha

Today the girls ideas are going to make you want to have a wrapping day!
Start a fire, play some festive music and wrap to your
hearts content.

Mini Candy Boxes
by: Mireille Divjak
"starting point is the bathroom.. for real.. and saving those toilet paper rolls
pretty paper & a little ribbon,
 a beautiful flower
and you're ready to go. Glue the paper to the roll, fold the edges so it closes
(after filling it with some candy) Tie a ribbon around it and adhere your flower.
That's it. Fun to make, maybe with your kids. I made these with my daughter as a gift
for her teachers."
