Today's post is kinda fun! I'm totally looking forward to the layouts that hopefully get created because of it! I think it's safe to say that as a scrapbooker we all value home and family and the importance of getting our "story" down in our books.... right? Why else would we spend the time and money to put so much of our creative energies into dreaming up works of art? But.... the question still remains.... will those who come after you REALLY get to know you through your hobby? (eh...hem.. obsession?) I'm pretty sure they won't question what was important to you.... that will be obvious with each page they turn. But are you creating enough pages and layouts that really tell and show who YOU are? What makes you smile? What are your favorite TV shows? What's your favorite color or guilty pleasure? 
Here's a layout I created about the things I love and that make me smile. I used the new "Crazy Love" line by Bo Bunny. I think it's hard for some of us to scrapbook about ourselves but it's still very important. That's why I want to focus on scrapping to know YOU!

Wow what a great prize. You are right, I don't like scrapping about myself. I have a few layouts in my BOM album but there still isn't a photo of me in it.
I have only completed one layout in my bom so far, but I have a project box filled with ideas for more. This prize would be a great inspiration and motivator.

Hmmm, guilty as charged. I never do layouts about me. I turned 40 in January and i said to myself i was going to do a tag style album about me and advice for my children etc....zero happening there and the years nearly over. Ooops

Really makes me wince. Can't say that I want to do it, but then again, I did once gather together a bunch of photos of me as I was growing up. That was kinda fun. Maybe I'll did those out... Thanks for the nudge.
This is such an awesome challenge! I so believe that it is so important to scrap 'ourselves', and yet still feel challenged about doing that! To scrap a photo of me, not too bad, but to really journal much about ME...a whole different story!
