Oct. Card challenge & last month's winner!

It's time for another card challenge, but before we do...

~Just a reminder we are giving away a PINK purse each week this
month in hopes that more women can be aware of the fight for breast cancer.

~Also, Saturday is National Card Making Day and we will be having a blog hop
with a fun little game and a super fun giveaway!!  You won't want to miss it!!

For this month's challenge....   because of the crisp morning air, the comfy clothes & the
gorgeous fall colors we wanted our challenge to be for each of you to create a AUTUMN CARD.

To give you a little inspiration, the girls have come up with some great ideas...

Designer Tips: Adding clusters of embellishments gives your project dimension and depth. For this card I used patterned paper to create several of my embellishments, I popped them up with foam squares to add the feeling of pumpkins sitting in a patch piled upon on another. Using patterned paper is a great way to create coordinating embellishments!

Tips: Keep your supplies needed down by taking advantage of both sides and the pieces that are left over after you build your card. The Apple Cider Dot was used for the top layer of the card, the tiny punched flower centers and I punched the leaves from it, too. The leaves are the opposite side of the same paper.
Also, take advantage of the packaged embellishments. Brads go a long way and I seldom use an entire package for one project. Think about using the smaller ones on smaller projects, like cards, and the bigger ones for layouts or projects where you need more impact.
Supplies Used:
Patterned Paper: Apple Cider Dot and Apple Cider Cut Outs
Double Dot: Chocolate Dot
Brads: Apple Cider
Petals: Apple Cider
Ribbon: Double Dot Chocolate
