Love Mini Albums

A mini album can be the perfect gift for that special someone in your life. Juliana and Denise have each created a mini album for the one's they love, using the bold, bright and fun Head Over Heels collection and coordinating Mini Album. Make sure you stop by their blogs when you finish here to see more of each of their albums.

The Head Over Heels Mini Album, with it's trendy camera shape and bold colors and patterns was love at first sight. I used the coordinating Head Over Heels collection to personalize it for some photos of me and my husband, that were taken at a wedding we recently attended. To decorate the cover, I used a few pieces of Chipboard and a strip of paper from the Endless Love Patterned Paper. I then dressed it up with a red bow and some glitter for a touch of extra sparkle and shine.

To embellish the inside pages, I used a combination of Stickers, Chipboard, Patterned Paper and Noteworthy Die Cuts. I carried the hand doodled theme of this collection throughout the album, by adding some of my own doodling with a black pen.

When creating a mini album, it is helpful to repeat things throughout the album to help it flow from one page to the next. To achieve this, I added a bit of hand doodling and glitter on each of the pages. The album contains 10 pages and I have shared 4 of them here with you today. Feel free to stop by my blog, 17turtles, to see the other 6 pages and more detail photos on my hand doodling and other embellishments.

Love Mini Album by Denise van Deventer

This is a little "love" album about the 2 boys in my life! My hubby and my son. When I received this fabulous mini album from BoBunny it was a no-brainer that I would have to create a "love" document. Because of the super colours in the Head Over Heels collection and funky camera shaped Mini Album, I choose some fun photo's to compliment it.

I honestly had so much fun creating this mini album. With all the co-ordinating 6x6 papers, Noteworthy, stickers, chipboards and buttons, it is so easy to put a page together. I was just brimming with ideas and the thing that took the longest, was waiting for the gesso and glue to dry!

Last year sometime, my hubby and son were playing and wrestling with one another.  I got the camera out and took quite a few photo's of their antics. It was good to have quite a number of photo's from the same shoot to work with for the album.

I love these mini albums, they are the sort of thing that you can display on your coffee table. It is a great way for people to get a quick little view of your subject/theme. You are welcome to come on over and have a coffee and see more of my mini. But, if that's a little far to go, then just pop on over to my blog and you will see more details and pages there!
