Mixed Media plus Madeleine equals Magic! You can't go wrong with these beauties!
Hi, BoBunny Fans! It's Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell) here for you today.
I brought with me today two mixed media cards and want to share them with you!
They are made using the same materials with the same sketch in the same style.
I decided to do it on purpose to show you that even making exactly the same action with the same material, you can still get a different result - a small bonus from the mixed media style!
The first is "Happy Day" card.
You can see a bit of gesso in the background, three types of sprays, a few stamps... The next layer includes applying the ink through a stencil, as well as gouache pens doodling.
Frame with a bird cut from a piece of paper, perfectly matched the color and created a the compositional center of card. In this photo you can see that the frame is slightly raised on a thin adhesive tape on the background.
If you look closer, you will see that in some places the background the gold paste is lying - the card immediately acquires a festive feel and shine with it!
BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned paper: Allure/Madeleine
Double Dot Jewels: Think Pink
Stamps: New Romance, New Captured
Stickable Stencils: Brocade
Glimmer Spray: Tutu, Mint, Bronze
Glitter Paste: Gold
Ink Pad: Licorice, Wildberry, Emerald
The second card - "Memories"
This time I was not even interested to talk about how this card was made.
Why?
Because it is made exactly the same way as the previous one!
A little gesso, Glimmer spray, stamps, ink +Stickable stencil, gouache pens doodling, paper frame, a bit of the gold Glitter paste... - nothing new!
In this more detailed photo you can see that the gold paste was applied directly onto the frame - very spectacular, I tell you!
