It's Elena here with you today and I've got a very fun project to share with you.
It's the Football frame - mini album I made using Game On Collection
It was such a fun to create it
My son is a football player since he has started to walk, no jokes, he determined that this is the best thing to do in life. So that is why I decided to create a "skyline" frame with the pictures taken during one of his games.
The papers are quite bold, but it was quite easy to combine the patterns
and to add the chipboard and other embellishments
I only painted the small areas with the acrylic paints by Pentart
I mostly cut out the banners from the paper sheet
To embellish the cover I used the die cut with alphas and die cut them from the thick cardboard
Then I covered them with gesso layer, and while it was still wet, I added Patina powder. To make everything mix , I applied few drops of reagent of light blue and green colors.
The look was really cool. It can be used for just touches on your project, or full backgorunds. Very cool.
However since it was the cover , I decided to protect the alphas, so I applied a layer of matte varnish.
After everything has dried, the color on the alphas came through and they became more bold.
I also misted the cover with the spray and applied acrylic paints between the alphas.
These are the mixed media product I used to create my project:
